I found @GeorgiaEdeMD in 2017 when I was perishing after 4 decades of schizophrenia torment & my body was breaking down resulting in 7 surgeries & 5 fractures from starvation. She was my "lightbulb moment" when she spoke in an old YouTube video that the exact food I hadn't consumed for 35yrs would heal me. Even back then, she backed up her claims with research, the same research I use now to advocate for others to believe this healing can be real for them also. Meat Heals. Meat Heals. Meat Heals.

Previously, broccoli was my favorite veggie. I tried it recently and disliked the taste. Does your taste for certain foods evolve as your gut changes adapting to a low carb diet?

Yes definitely, our tastes & palate changes tremendously as we heal.

Processed "plant protein" is a poor imitation of nature’s design. If you want real health, prioritize what your ancestors thrived on: animal foods.

“Butter is called butter because of butyrate!” No, it’s not. @drstevengundry is wrong… AGAIN as per usual 1) Butter is not named after butyrate The word butter comes from the Greek boutyron (“cow cheese”). Butter did not get its name because of its butyrate content. 2) Butter contains very little butyrate Butter is only 3–4% butyric acid by weight of its fat, meaning you get very small amounts relative to the calories (mostly saturated fat). It is a terrible butyrate strategy compared to dietary fiber. 3) The butyrate your colon uses comes from FIBER – not butter This is the key point Gundry gets completely wrong. Your gut bacteria turn dietary fiber into short-chain fatty acids (SCFAs): acetate, propionate, butyrate. That’s where the vast majority of your colonic butyrate comes from. Verified human data: • Fiber fermentation by gut bacteria is the primary source of SCFAs, including butyrate. PMID: 38436734 • Butyrate is the preferred fuel of colonocytes and plays major roles in gut barrier function, inflammation, and colon health. PMID: 10736623 • SCFAs produced from fiber have protective roles in metabolic health and colon health. PMID: 31126110 • Higher dietary fiber → greater SCFA (including butyrate) production. PMID: 11427691 • Most U.S. adults do not meet recommended fiber intake. PMID: 36627816 4) Colon cancer isn’t rising because people “don’t eat butter.” There is zero evidence for that claim. If anything, low fiber intake (and therefore low SCFA production) is the real issue—since Americans chronically under-consume fiber. Bottom line: Butter is fine in moderation. But pretending it’s a colon-healing, cancer-preventing “butyrate superfood” is pseudoscience. If you actually want to increase butyrate production? Eat more fiber. Your colon will thank you.

Fiber is Overrated! So Dr Shawn Baker 🌱 says fiber is overrated. What exactly about fiber is overrated? Is it the fact that it significantly increases longevity, reduces the risk of cancer, and cardiovascular disease in studies involving MILLIONS of total participants (PMIDs: 38011755, 35918724, & 37854351)? Is it the fact that it significantly reduces the risk of colon cancer (PMID: 34854791) Maybe it’s overrated because it helps you poop (PMID: 23326148) Shawn says that it’s just a waste that you flush down the toilet, but only insoluble fiber is not absorbed. And that can be a good thing because it helps with gut transit time, & eliminating stool in a timely fashion may actually help prevent GI inflammation & help eliminate potentially carcinogenic compounds produced as byproducts of digestion But soluble fiber doesn’t just have digestive benefits, it has metabolic benefits. Soluble fiber can be fermented by the gut microbiota to form short chain fatty acids like butyrate & propionate which can be absorbed into circulation & appear to have a myriad of benefits including improved insulin sensitivity & metabolic health (PMIDs: 35807739 & 3115666) I guess I”m confused about why any of this is overrated? Can you imagine if red meat had this kind of data? People like Shawn would absolutely lose their mind at the idea of anyone questioning the benefits, but since it doesn’t fit his bias he will never acknowledge the data fairly. And to be clear, I am not anti-meat at all. I’ve had my share of debates with vegans but I’m just not willing to buy into crazy nonsense like fiber being overrated Tired of feeling so confused by all the conflicting messages out there? How Much Sugar Do I Need To Function & To Be Healthy? The Amount Of Sugar That You Need To Function & Be Healthy Is...ZERO. There Is No Nutritional Requirement Whatsoever Of Sugar. None At All. You Don't Need Any. Dr Aseem Malhotra, Cardiologist You Don't Need Any Dietary Source Of Glucose. The Reason For That Is, Our Bodies Need Glucose To Survive, But You Don't Need Any Dietary Source Of Glucose To Survive. People go on Ketogenic Diets & they literally eliminate all starch as well, which also contains glucose, from their diet. Your body will make the glucose it needs from fat & protein. In terms of diets, there is no value from sugar whatsoever. Sugar can give you energy, but you can get energy from fat. Sugar has no nutritional value whatsoever. Zero. From a health perspective, there is zero requirement for dietary sugar. Carbohydrates are not an essential nutrient. We cannot have vibrant health or even live without protein & fat. The opposite is true of sugar & starch. We CAN have vibrant health & live a full energetic healthy life without sugar & starch(Carbohydrates). Excess sugar wreaks havoc on all systems in the body. Sooner or later the harm sets in as: Insulin Resistance & Inflammation Alzheimer's & Dementia Diabetes Cancer Glaucoma & Macular Degeneration Inflammation Arthritis Chronic Kidney Disease Pancreatitis Fatty Liver Disease Heart disease Gut Permeability Insomnia The Benefits Of Eliminating Most Sugar & Achieving The Fat Burning State Of Ketosis: Optimal Weight--Ketosis helps achieve optimal weight. Less hungry, full satiety & burning fat instead of glucose for energy. Improved Metabolic Health--Ketosis encourages healthy lipids, lowers TG, raises HDL & optimal blood pressure levels. Improved Brain Function--Ketosis heals Mental Illness brain dysfunction & treats neurological conditions like Alzheimer's & Parkinson's disease. Improved Blood Sugar Management--Ketosis, along with carbohydrate restriction, puts type 2 diabetes into remission. Improved Energy Levels--Ketosis increases your energy levels & keeps them stable by burning fat instead of glucose for energy. Reduced Risk of Disease--Ketosis reduces your risk of developing heart disease, metabolic syndrome & cancer. Improved Appetite Control--Ketosis makes you less hungry & eat less frequently. Improved Focus--Ketosis allows you to achieve laser powered focus. Improved Gut Microbiome--Ketosis increases the ratio of Bacteroidetes to Firmicutes in your gut microbiome. 👇248 Low Carbohydrate Research Resources👇 👇Ketogenic Protocol For Cancer Prevention/Treat👇 👇Ketogenic Diet Heals Mental Illness👇 Speakers: Dr Aseem Malhotra & DiaryOfaCEO

"What Is The #1 Best Anti-Inflammatory Food In The Entire World?" Dr Eric Berg "You Think It's Omega-3 Fish Oils? Not Even Close." Food inflammation is caused by Gluten, Refined Sugars, Seed Oils, Alcohol, Junk Food, etc. The #1 best anti-inflammatory food is red meat! Most inflammatory conditions originate in the gut. You can drink all the fish oil you want. It's not going to do anything. In fact, 99% of fish oil supplements, whether it be softgels or liquid, goes thru the same industrial processing as toxic seed oils. The same process of solvents, bleaching, deodorizing, high heat oxidation resulting in harmful rancid inflammatory fish oil. The primary food that will heal gut permeability is red meat. Red meat contains the most Glutamine & is the healer for stomach & intestinal issues. Glutamine heals the endothelial lining & restores the intestinal mucosal barrier that is damaged by gut permeability. In order to heal inflammatory disease, changing the daily diet is needed. Avoiding the foods that caused the gut permeability in the 1st place like gluten, grains, seed oils, sugar & junk food. And instead prioritizing healing red meat from beef, lamb, bison, venison, goat, sheep, etc. Red meat has been falsely vilified as inflammatory & proven to be THE most UN-INFLAMMATORY food. Baylor University Study lead author Dr Alexis Wood: "The intake of unprocessed and processed red meat (beef, pork or lamb) is not associated with ANY markers of inflammation." This groundbreaking study adds a powerful layer to the case for embracing ancestral eating, standing firm against the conventional push towards a “plant-based diet.” Inflammatory conditions healed by a Ketogenic Carnivore Diet: Autoimmune diseases: Such as rheumatoid arthritis, lupus & psoriasis Cardiovascular diseases: Such as high blood pressure & heart disease Gastrointestinal diseases: Such as Crohn's disease, ulcerative colitis & irritable bowel syndrome Lung diseases: Such as asthma and chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD) Mental Illness: Such as depression, anxiety, schizophrenia, bipolar & OCD Metabolic diseases: Such as type 2 diabetes, fatty liver, pancreatitis & obesity Neurodegenerative diseases: Such as Alzheimer's & Parkinson's disease Cancer: Damaged mitochondria from chronic inflammation 👇Red Meat Does Not Cause Inflammation👇 👇Red Meat Intake Not Linked To Inflammation👇
