Media Release MLAs Implicate John Rustad in Alleged Election Fraud at BC Conservative Party AGM May 28, 2025. Victoria. John Rustad was complicit in a scheme to rig the results of the BC Conservative Party’s AGM on March 1st, according to a confession made by a member of his... senior staff and other evidence reported today by MLAs Tara Armstrong, Jordan Kealy, and Dallas Brodie. According to confessions made to MLA Armstrong by a senior member of John Rustad’s executive staff who claims to have participated in the scheme, approximately $100,000 was paid to secure votes from over 100 members of the South Asian community and on other measures to obtain votes for John Rustad’s slate of directors and constitutional amendments. The MLAs also revealed that according to numerous sources, senior members of Mr. Rustad’s staff handpicked the persons who were allowed to vote as delegates based upon the perceived political leanings of those people or their allegiance to Mr. Rustad. Mr. Rustad openly endorsed a slate of directors for the party’s board, a matter which the MLAs allege was itself contrary to the party’s bylaws. In one riding, every delegate was rejected except for one individual who happened to be a staff member employed by the Rustad caucus. Reports from a number of witnesses corroborate the confession by Mr. Rustad’s senior staff member about the exploitation of members of the South Asian community. These statements included observations of large numbers of South Asian men arriving together and being signed up manually as voting delegates despite not having names listed in the party’s records. The MLAs are calling on John Rustad, the Conservative Party’s MLAs, and its board of directors to launch an independent audit of the party’s AGM elections. Good job exposing this! Many of us helped John and this party in the early stages. This is NOT what we had in mind for how this party would operate. The AGM was a display of the scheming, control freaks running the party. Only leftys think and behave like this!

"Believing" someone did something unbecoming and them actually doing it are completely different things. I could say a Nasa executive told me the moon is actually made out of blue cheese, does this make it so? When ppl are testifying on the stand under oath I will consider its implications.

The BC Conservative leader, John Rustad, banned his party’s politicians from coming to my presentation inside the Legislature this week. (He later blocked me on social media.) Yes, you read that correctly. The Conservative politicians weren’t allowed to learn more about how children are being irreversibly harmed under their watch. There are only 3 elected politicians in Canada who have ever supported me, and they are all standing with me today. Dallas Brodie and Tara Armstrong of One BC, and Jordan Kealy, an Independent. They all won seats as Conservatives, but were forced to leave the party as John Rustad doesn’t have tolerance for truth-tellers. First, John kicked out Dallas Brodie for telling the truth that no graves of indigenous children were ever discovered in Kamloops. Tara Armstrong and Jordan Kealy then had no choice but to leave, being people of integrity who refuse to work in an environment of deceit and authoritarianism. This week, Tara Armstrong presented a bill to stop the abuse of child transition. It didn’t even make it to first reading. The radical left NDP — joined by the Greens, an Independent/former Conservative named Elenore Sturko, and even some Conservatives — immediately voted it down, never having even read the bill. This is the state of politics in BC and Canada, but we move on, knowing that one conversation at a time we are educating the populace. It is just a matter of time until we vote out these child abusers and restore sanity for our kids.

I have a video brewing about the current state of politics in British Columbia. But I need to put out this clip now because of how ridiculous it is. The Executive Director of the BC Conservative Party Angelo Isidorou effectively confirms the CPBC will not get rid of DRIPA. He attacks the 3 MLAs who left the party (Brodie was kicked out) as being intolerant of the views of other CPBC MLAs. He foolishly uses DRIPA as an example for free votes, confirming MLAs like Warbus, McInnis, and Milobar are pro-DRIPA. The host Mo Amir (Mo Amir 🪬) seems baffled that Angelo would say that no everyone in caucus will agree on repealing DRIPA when it is a main platform plank of the 2024 CPBC campaign. Insane! Who could guess why people are having their confidence in Rustad and the CPBC shredded. (Later we need to discuss how the party is now not actually planning on repealing SOGI-123) Angelo tries to swipe at the old BC Liberals but his description of the BC Conservatives sounds a whole heck of a lot like how they operated. This is why OneBC exists. British Columbia needs a real reform-minded party that plans to actually do what is says in its platform.

Almost a year ago, I stood up and called for the end of the carbon tax with Bruce Banman — we were the only two Conservatives in BC’s Legislature. At the time, David Eby and the BC NDP called our common sense Conservative Party crazy, and said we hated the environment. The BC NDP championed this broken tax for eight long years, hurting everyday people and families. Then, on the heels of the election and tightening polls, David Eby was told by pollsters that he needed to suddenly dump his deeply held personal beliefs and change his mind for political expediency. The elimination of the carbon tax today is a victory for our whole Caucus, team, and over 10,000 Conservative Party of BC members — but more importantly, the taxpayers of BC. I am so proud of my Conservative Party of BC MLAs who refused to go home until the job was done — every single Conservative MLA fought this fight, even folks who were sick or injured checking in from hospitals and home. When it comes to helping everyday, hardworking people with affordability — common sense Conservatives will continue to lead, and David Eby will continue to follow.

The1957News has received exclusive footage showing some alleged National Security officers assaulting staff of the Ministry of Energy. The incident is said to have occurred at Kasoa Amanfrom on the morning of Thursday, January 15, 2026. According to an eyewitness account, some staff of the Energy Ministry, while traveling from Kasoa to the office on board an official bus, came across a pickup truck parked very close to the middle of the road, making it difficult for the Ministry’s staff bus to exit into the main road. Upon the bus exiting into the main road, a staff member on board the bus informed the driver of the pickup that he had parked wrongly. When the bus moved, the pickup allegedly followed and crossed the Ministry’s bus at top speed. The driver of the bus maneuvered but was crossed a second time. The1957News has received exclusive footage showing some alleged National Security officers assaulting staff of the Ministry of Energy. The incident is said to have occurred at Kasoa Amanfrom on the morning of Thursday, January 15, 2026. According to an eyewitness account, some staff of the Energy Ministry, while traveling from Kasoa to the office on board an official bus, came across a pickup truck parked very close to the middle of the road, making it difficult for the Ministry’s staff bus to exit into the main road. Upon the bus exiting into the main road, a staff member on board the bus informed the driver of the pickup that he had parked wrongly. When the bus moved, the pickup allegedly followed and crossed the Ministry’s bus at top speed. The driver of the bus maneuvered but was crossed a second time. Elders of Asante Mampong have raised strong concerns over the appointment of Yakubu Issifu, a Northerner, as the Municipal Chief Executive (MCE) for the area. They have appealed to President John Mahama to reconsider the decision and remove the newly appointed official. According to the elders, the manner in which the appointment was made was disrespectful to the local community, citing that some members of the NDC have openly declared their refusal to accept an Asante as MCE in the constituency.

IOBM student body unites to demand justice for a fellow female student who was reportedly expelled for complaining about alleged harassment she faced as the University responded by accusing her of being disrespectful to the staff. Universities in Pakistan for most part believe that students can be isolated, picked out and bullied and as there are no student unions who would care. However, the IOBM student body proved the administration wrong which as per reports has now led to firing of the transport staff member against whom the student had originally complained. It has also been reported that the University is now reconsidering the expulsion of the Student. The student must be reinstated at the earliest and inquiry should be launched against her hasty expulsion and allegations of harassment. This is not the first time a University has decided to act against alleged victims and whistleblowers. In 2021 a male student was expelled by IBA for publicly reporting the harassment of a female staff member by senior male staff members. The expulsion led to student protests resulting in the reinstatement of the whistle blower following my committee inquiries which found the male staff members guilty of harassment. Instead of knee jerk reactions to first complaints and then retreating under protest Universities must ensure proper mechanisms and transparency giving confidence to students to come forward instead of putting them under fear or coercive actions against them. The inquiries will not only embolden students but would also give fair hearing to those accused of harassment. Unfortunately even the premier institutes who claim to have comprehensive anti harassment policies in place fail to implement the same when the need arises and even try to rig inquiry committees or create hurdles for them. In 2014 when a professor at LUMs was accused of sexual harassment the first reaction of the administration and fellow faculty was to rush his defence and the LUMS inquiry committee also exonerated him and it was only later before the Ombudsman that the professor was found guilty resulting in the professor getting fired. Whether it is incidents of harassment, lack of facilities on campus, lack of maintenance of amenities and transport, issues of examination and other disciplinary measures the conduct of university administrations repeatedly remind us of the need for actual functioning Students Unions and Student representation within the university's governing bodies.
