Alberta Premier Danielle Smith says she is going to convince B.C. Premier David Eby to support a new oil pipeline through his province. "I know that he is on Team Canada and I can't imagine in the end that if we meet the issues that have been raised by British Columbia that he would go off Team Canada," says Smith. It took weeks for Elections BC to determine the winner. The October 2024 British Columbia election was easily the most dysfunctional, corrupt & unethical election in Canadian history. The BC NDP tried to change the ballot to switch the name of the Conservative Party of British Columbia to the BC Conservatives, after mail in ballots had been sent out. Early voting centers had staff take home blank ballots & even cast ballots in some ridings. The BC NDP even allowed phone in voting. 15,000+ ballots were added to the final count, AFTER election day. Affidavits were filed showing dementia ward seniors were sending in mail in ballots, that had been requested in bulk. Including in the very riding the BC NDP won, by 22 votes in a recount. When the government can change the rules and take weeks to determine the winner of an election, you can't expect them to care about the will of the people. This should be abundantly clear to everyone in BC watching David Eby gift away our rights, with DRIPA. 🇨🇦🛢️🏭 : BC Premier David Eby says he is open to building a refinery in British Columbia to cut off imports of oil & gas from the USA. He announced this after being asked if he would lift the tanker ban across the Northern BC Coast. Eby says the TMX expansion is not being utilized at capacity and thus he sees no need for a new taxpayer funded pipeline. David also says there is no offer from the private sector to build a pipeline. Enbridge wanted to build the Northern Gateway pipeline 10 years ago. We also had a private offer to build a multi billion $ refinery in Kitimat. Both projects were cancelled because Justin Trudeau & David Eby made it impossible for private investors. In the case of the Northern Gateway pipeline, Justin Trudeau cancelled it in 2016 despite that line having First Nation consent & billions in equity shares in the line. Something I have posted about repeatedly, including a few days ago. Enbridge also spent $1 billion on consultations and environmental impact assessments, only to have the new Liberal government ax the project anyways. Once the BC NDP came to power, they made it next to impossible for a refinery project to be built by ensuring the process would cost far too much, while having too much uncertainty, to be viable. We lost a decade of prosperity because of Justin Trudeau's Liberals & the BC NDP pushing their self serving agendas. Only to now watch David Eby backtrack 10 years later. This should infuriate everyone. We could have had that refinery built by now and be domestically benefitting from & exporting premium jet fuel, gasoline, diesel & various types of crude. The reality is, David Eby is a failure & should be stepping down so a competent government can take over.

Media Release MLAs Implicate John Rustad in Alleged Election Fraud at BC Conservative Party AGM May 28, 2025. Victoria. John Rustad was complicit in a scheme to rig the results of the BC Conservative Party’s AGM on March 1st, according to a confession made by a member of his senior staff and other evidence reported today by MLAs Tara Armstrong, Jordan Kealy, and Dallas Brodie. According to confessions made to MLA Armstrong by a senior member of John Rustad’s executive staff who claims to have participated in the scheme, approximately $100,000 was paid to secure votes from over 100 members of the South Asian community and on other measures to obtain votes for John Rustad’s slate of directors and constitutional amendments. The MLAs also revealed that according to numerous sources, senior members of Mr. Rustad’s staff handpicked the persons who were allowed to vote as delegates based upon the perceived political leanings of those people or their allegiance to Mr. Rustad. Mr. Rustad openly endorsed a slate of directors for the party’s board, a matter which the MLAs allege was itself contrary to the party’s bylaws. In one riding, every delegate was rejected except for one individual who happened to be a staff member employed by the Rustad caucus. Reports from a number of witnesses corroborate the confession by Mr. Rustad’s senior staff member about the exploitation of members of the South Asian community. These statements included observations of large numbers of South Asian men arriving together and being signed up manually as voting delegates despite not having names listed in the party’s records. The MLAs are calling on John Rustad, the Conservative Party’s MLAs, and its board of directors to launch an independent audit of the party’s AGM elections. According to confessions made to MLA Armstrong by a senior member of John Rustad’s executive staff who claims to have participated in the scheme, approximately $100,000 was paid to secure votes from over 100 members of the South Asian community and on other measures to obtain votes for John Rustad’s slate of directors and constitutional amendments. The MLAs also revealed that according to numerous sources, senior members of Mr. Rustad’s staff handpicked the persons who were allowed to vote as delegates based upon the perceived political leanings of those people or their allegiance to Mr. Rustad. Mr. Rustad openly endorsed a slate of directors for the party’s board, a matter which the MLAs allege was itself contrary to the party’s bylaws. In one riding, every delegate was rejected except for one individual who happened to be a staff member employed by the Rustad caucus. Reports from a number of witnesses corroborate the confession by Mr. Rustad’s senior staff member about the exploitation of members of the South Asian community. These statements included observations of large numbers of South Asian men arriving together and being signed up manually as voting delegates despite not having names listed in the party’s records. The MLAs are calling on John Rustad, the Conservative Party’s MLAs, and its board of directors to launch an independent audit of the party’s AGM elections.
