CONFIRMED: Did you know that in many of Mega Eelektross’s move animations it flips on its side so that it and its arms fully form a traditional Japanese fish kite/streamers, Koinobori! ALSO it actually forms a capital E for Eelektross. Kinda like how Mega Malamar forms an M👀

Mega Malamar might be inspired by the blanket octopus 🐙 — a rainbow-colored cephalopod that spreads a huge “cape” to scare predators, and can even detach it to escape. 🌈
