For the film Strange Brew they wanted to get Mel Blanc but he would charge $10K an hour. The studio said no but the people behind the movie then lied and said Mel is now charging $10k for an entire day. But they just filmed his scene in one hour.

Bill Fagerbakke claimed in an interview that Tom Kenny is the Mel Blanc of our times, and idk you can kinda hear some of this stuff in SpongeBob’s screams
