I ask myself, “What do I buy that is really the picks and shovels? And what do I buy that is actually a direct ownership of the tech equivalent to, let's say a stable coin or Bitcoin itself?" My conclusion has been if I wanna play the long-term, the next five years or even 10 years in AI, I need to own data centers. I need to own real estate where data centers are built. I need to own power contracts that power the data centers. I've seen this movie so many times before, once you convinced as an investor that this is gonna be here for a while.

Google just acquired an Israeli Trojan horse to STEAL clients from AWS and Microsoft. $32 billion. All cash. For a cybersecurity startup called Wiz. It’s the largest acquisition in Google’s history. But nobody’s talking about what they ACTUALLY bought... Here’s why this is way bigger than you think: Wiz protects over half the Fortune 100. Their clients run on AWS, Azure, Google Cloud, and Oracle. The platform scans every workload, every vulnerability, every misconfiguration across ALL of those clouds. Meaning Wiz has a god-level view of how the world's biggest companies use their competitors' infrastructure. And Google just bought that view for $32 billion. Now think about what Google Cloud's biggest problem has been for YEARS... They're stuck in third place. 13% market share. AWS has 30%. Azure has 20%. Google has been hemorrhaging money trying to close that gap and nothing has worked. Wiz changes that equation overnight. Because Wiz doesn't just protect cloud environments. It MAPS them. David Friedberg: Michael Burry’s Datacenter Math is Wrong “I actually think Michael Burberry's got this wrong.” “What Michael Burry is saying is that all of these hyperscalers have extended their depreciation schedule or the useful life of their data centers by roughly 2x, which cuts the operating costs in half when they report it in earnings. And so it's making their earnings inflate.” “So he's claiming they're cooking the books. Google first made this change in Q1 of 2021, where they said the servers are now going from 3 to 4 years. Separately in 2021, Google took networking equipment from 3 to 5 years. And then in 2023, they took it from 5 to 6 years.” “And so this is a result of this effort where they went in and did an analysis. Was very excited about this thoughtful conversation with Jonathan Ehrenfeld, Head of Strategy at Swift. I think it clearly showcases the large benefits of Swift as a private key signing infrastructure, financial standards organization and network for routing key financial messages/information across the capital markets, among many other key services it already provides. It is clear to me that for our industry to go to the next stage, we need to make sure that blockchains become compatible with the existing financial system. Chainlink has a key role to play in making that happen, by simplifying the connectivity of those traditional data, payment and compliance systems into all blockchains, as well as the connectivity of those blockchains between each other. There will continue to be more and more critical data, identity, payment, compliance and other key systems to be integrated into and across blockchains securely, which I feel Chainlink is in a unique position to address in ways no other system can. Asked Chris Finch about the adjustment in Mike Conley's role this season and what that process has been like. In his answer he talked a bit about the rotation big picture "We're getting up to the point here where we might even shrink the rotation a little bit smaller, and then everybody (who plays) minutes will level out". For context, the Wolves have been playing a 10-man rotation for most of the season, but with the 9th and 10th guys often playing between 4 and 8 total minutes. So I read that as the leveling out coming in the form of removing one guy so everyone who plays is receiving 10+ minutes a night. These were the 10 players who played tonight while the Wolves were at full-strength Gobert Randle McDaniels (got hurt tonight) Edwards DiVincenzo Reid Conley Hyland Shannon Clark (Rob Dillingham has not been in the 10-man rotation of late when the Wolves are at full-strength.)
