Chinese Swarm Drone Systems: 48 and 96 Drones Some time ago, I wrote about the evolution of autonomous systems and how only the Chinese were truly making progress in this field. After starting serial production of the Swarm-2, which features 48 drones and real-time tracking, they are now testing a version with 96 drones. These are divided into three categories: reconnaissance, jamming, and attack. Each drone can carry a variety of payloads, including electro-optical reconnaissance, strike munitions, and relay communications. They can be flexibly combined into different operational groupings, forming multifunctional swarms capable of complex missions. These drones have an individual range of 15 to 50 km, but the manufacturer claims that by maintaining a swarm network communication, this range is significantly extended. This strongly reinforces what we discussed a while back: that future wars will be dominated by drone systems that will severely delay any ground troop advancement, as already evidenced by the conflict in Ukraine.

Overnight, Russia attacked Kirovohrad Oblast with Geran-2 drones. Strikes were carried out on the cities of Znamyanka and Oleksandriya. The targets of these attacks is currently unknown, as it doesn't appear to have been railway infrastructure. All videos are from Znamyanka.

The real reason Trump was forced to move the inauguration inside is because of extreme security concerns! Helicopters are scanning the area for bombs and radioactive material as we speak. The threat from drone attacks has reached unprecedented levels. All it takes is one small drone with poison on the end to take out any world leader. Terrifying! Once AI vision is added to those drones it will reach the point where nobody important can go outside without highly precise detection systems and top-of-the-line AI security. Watch closely on January 20th as they warn it could be the next target. Will be covering this closely.

An agreement has been reached on Ukrainian-American cooperation in drone production, including interceptor drones — a crystal clear priority. We have signed an agreement with the robust American company Swift Beat, and it foresees hundreds of thousands of drones this year alone, with the potential to significantly scale up production in the coming year. Interceptors to destroy enemy drones and missiles, quadcopters for reconnaissance and fire adjustment, and long-range strike drones — all of these will be produced in much greater numbers to help us achieve our defense goals and protect the lives of Ukrainians. Today, we will continue our work in Denmark, and on new agreements of this kind — focused on joint production, joint development, and joint defense. I thank everyone who is helping!

The PLA is using a flamethrower drone for urban warfare, effective in suppressing specific openings/windows in a building. Small semi-automated drones are also used as spotters when clearing buildings. The PLA is testing drones of all shapes and sizes for various tasks. Most other countries like the US are stuck on man-unmanned teaming with large and expensive platforms, like CCA or unmanned tanks, they cannot replicate this because their manufacturing industry cannot support it.

Two or more drones will patrol while defensive systems will include interceptor drones that can be deployed when needed. It is likely that a vehicle equipped with VLS (Vertical Launch System) will operate solely with missiles and kamikaze drones, with target coordinates transmitted by the patrol drones. This concept is quite similar to what the Chinese are implementing with the Type 100, but they have adapted it for assault units, which I still believe needs to be tested.

This is Shahed drone but not the same ‘world famous’ Delta wing Shahed. This is Shahed-101, a loitering munition drone that attacked the fuel storage site in Erbil. Shahed-101 struck a Castrol linked warehouse at Sardar Group facility. How is ‘101’ different from ‘136’? Shahed-101, a 26 KG drone uses electric motor, so it does not make noise like ‘136’ or Arash drones. It can go upto 1500 km with 8 KG warhead. On the other hand, a 200 KG Shahed-136 uses a piston engine and it can go upto 2500 km with 50 KG warhead. So Shahed-101 is a new weapon in this war with low cost saturation tactics against million dollar interceptors. They can hit Israel.
