Ukraine has hit an apartment complex in Kazan, which also has kindergarten in it with four drones this morning. There are zero strategic targets in that building. Just like yesterday in Lutsk, Ukraine is lashing out on civilians. As a good friend of mine once said, when/if Ukraine will be down to their last missile or GMLRS rocket, they will use it to hit the most crowded civilian center in Donetsk.

Tehran doesn’t need to sink every vessel - it's enough to convince shipowners and insurance companies that it is capable of doing so.

Drone escort This is the future of military convoys as well as civilian convoys in risky areas. Two or more drones will patrol while defensive systems will include interceptor drones that can be deployed when needed. It is likely that a vehicle equipped with VLS (Vertical Launch System) will operate solely with missiles and kamikaze drones, with target coordinates transmitted by the patrol drones. This concept is quite similar to what the Chinese are implementing with the Type 100, but they have adapted it for assault units, which I still believe needs to be tested.

This means each CIWS has enough ammunition for roughly 6–8 drones, if everything goes perfectly and no additional bursts are needed. There is no time to reload a second time before the drones begin hitting the ship. We are facing swarms of 100–200 drones or even more, equipped with tandem warheads and highly advanced evasive maneuvering capabilities in Ukraine. This is why the key lies in preventing the fleet from being located in the first place, through the use of drone patrols, drone EW, and even building smaller aircraft carriers dedicated specifically to this purpose.
