Metroid Dread is a horror game. 😭🫣🥶

I think I need to replay Metroid Dread

Is this your first playthrough? I absolutely loved this game!!! I hope Mercury Steam does another game with Nintendo!!!

i started it before but didn't finish it, and TIL nintendo switch dont have cloud saves LOL idm starting over, its great.

I’m not an achievement hunter but if this game did have it I wouldn’t mind going for the 100% lol

So was Metroid Fusion (the best non-Pokemon Nintendo game). You should play that with NSO.

I love this game ❤️ The Dread in the name is there for a reason.

@Solid_evolution Best 2D Metroid ever made

Emmi's are cool at first, but kinda predictable since you know you are about to approach them. Real horror would be if it's unexpected, like SA-X.

@QuakeViking Second best Metroidvania ever

Getting anxiety I had back when playing the game just watching this lol

Yeah, the Dread is in the name for a reason haha

You bought a Switch 2 💀?

Sure did

Most Metroid games are honestly

Haven’t played it but Metroid Fusion for GBA had serious horror vibes in some sections.

Peak Metroid. The EMMIs are anxiety inducing for sure.

I'm pretty sure this will be my next game.

they get deadlier

All Metroid games are

Dread has its moments but fusion was way scarier

The only good Metroid game on switch next to the remaster

A damn near perfect one at that.

One of the best Switch games

Switch 2 update when 😭?

And its IMO one of the best games of all time. Man i love love love it

It’s great

Listen, and understand! That EMMI is out there! It can't be bargained with. It can't be reasoned with. It doesn't feel pity, or remorse, or fear. And it absolutely will not stop... EVER, until you are dead!

Welcome to the Metroid family. Hope you enjoy the rest of the games if you continue to play!

Do you buy physical copies for your switch Jez?just curious because it’s only the console I buy physical games for.

My timing is so bad. During my first play through, I've only escaped the clutches of E.M.M.I. ONE time! And it was one of the most heart racing gaming moments I can remember.

Metroid is a horror franchise

25% of the time, it definitely is! 😱 What a game though, I truly loved it

lo empecé pero no pude con la presión, me da amsiedad

Stalker mechanics….. 👀😮‍💨😭

The EMMI sections are definitely terrifying, especially early game when you've got very little upgrades.
