He also says "On 7th May, when we identified and hit top militant installations like LeT headquarters in Muridke in Pakistan and PoK, it was predicted that Pakistan would retaliate and target our main air bases and military installations. But by surprise, some Kamikaze drones, surface-to-surface and air-to-surface missiles were launched directly for the Golden Temple. After not getting any success in causing damage to our air bases and military installations for about 3 days, they targeted civilian areas, Gurdwara Sahib and other areas with these Kamikaze drones and rockets. All the air raid was intercepted and shot down with great precision..."

#WATCH | On mock drills to be held on May 7, Lt Gen KJS Dhillon (Retd) says, "Such mock drills were very common practices in border areas earlier. During the 1971 war, I was a young student in Amritsar. We did all these mock drills. I was then studying in Ferozepur, where these mock drills used to be held. This is just for the benefit of citizens and to make them aware that if some action is taken, they can protect themselves. There is no need to panic...It is not as if Pakistan will attack every house, it doesn't have money or ammunition for that. Practice this comfortably...As far as blackout is concerned, you just have to put up black sheets on your windows and put up dark curtains. So that if there is even a little light inside, the aircraft flying above cannot see it...It's a routine thing, it's a normal thing. Coopreate with the authorities and nothing is going to happen to any civilian if you follow these drills correctly."

Civilian targets in Tehran and other cities may be bombed even more heavily. But Iran’s strategy — 'death by a thousand cuts' against the U.S. and Israel — will NOT change. What we are witnessing is an existential war, a do-or-die conflict for Iran. And, beyond that, a war against BRICS and the Global South.
