Great point here from Abdul 🔥 : El-Sayed: I thought you were for the everyday man. If you're for billionaires, you and I disagree. Watters: I just think I have the right to the fruits of my own labor El-Sayed: Billionaires don't make their money off of their labor. They make their money off their money

FOX: I understand thinking that some people have too much money. We are engine of the world for these things and people end up being billionaires as a result. El-Sayed: The issue is not that some people have too much money. It’s that the engine that created their opportunity to make money is being underfunded… FOX: You said you wanted to choke them out. El-Sayed: I don't want to choke anyone out. I want to make sure everyone can breathe. Right now, you have an economy where people are getting choked out because they don’t have the basic means for a dignified life because we are more focused on allowing a billionaire to make another billion…

WELKER: Do you think billionaires have a right to exist? MAMDANI: I don't think we should have billionaires because it is so much money in a moment of such inequality and ultimately what we need more of is equality across the city and across the state and country and I look forward to work with everyone including billionaires to make a city that is fair for all of us

Sanders: We should be looking at all of the waste and fraud. The president's spot on to.. make sure we are actually using taxpayer money wisely… I think that that Democrats are terrified at what he is going to find.

TRUMP: "We have an agreement that was signed last night. 60 days, they have to make a deal, otherwise, we will do things that won't make them happy. I don't think it's going to get to that...If we do that then all of a sudden, you're not going to have the oil flowing out of the strait"

Abdul El-Sayed: “I think billionaires should pay their fair share back into the system. I think we should tax billionaire wealth. Take some of that money, bring it back to public education. Take some of that money, build schools and roads, provide healthcare, provide childcare. I am a capitalist, but I believe too many people can’t participate in capitalism because what we have right now is actually corporatism”

It's a question of conscience. Do you believe we ought to live in a country that ensures that a 7 year old kid won't starve if their parent gets laid off? Or do you think we should cut that family's food assistance to give tax breaks to billionaires? I know where I stand.
