An EV-enthusiast YouTube says his Ford F-150 Lightning was totaled by a "love tap" from a Honda Accord. Nikki Gordon-Bloomfield of Transport Evolved says the minor accident damaged the rear bumper frame, not any electrical components. The body shop who took the vehicle said the OEM replacement part they ordered did not fit, that Ford has no official repair procedure for this component, and the only way to properly do the repair for insurance purposes would be to replace the entire frame at a cost of $22,000.
