Y’all, I know everybody has their favorites, but for me, as a kid that grew up with my Dad out on the lake in the early 80’s, Keith Whitley is THE male Country Music voice. (And “I’m No Stranger To The Rain” is a fabulous song!

Why did Keith have to leave us so early? Had he lived, country music would still be country music. He was the modern day Hank Williams.

Pretty surreal to drive by his house in Goodlettsville, he and Lori Morgan weren’t there to long before he died there. Unassuming 1 story. He was on his way up for sure. Great Musician.
