JUST IN: Derek Chauvin is calling his trial a "sham" while speaking out to the media in his first public comments since the death of George Floyd. The comments from Chauvin is featured as part of a new documentary, The Fall of Minneapolis. The documentary suggests the FBI altered Floyd's autopsy as noted by the film's producer, Liz Collin. Collin suggests the FBI was involved with altering the autopsy report to assert that Chauvin killed Floyd by kneeling while the original report did not mention asphyxiation. Carotid injury during transsphenoidal surgery is a dreaded event for neurosurgeons. Preoperative knowledge of the anatomy, essential intraopertive tools (Doppler) and a methodical, deliberate action plan by the surgical team is necessary to avoid and mitigate this morbid surgical complication. Here I'm using Dreams, Krea and 3daistudio. The 3d model at the end of the video was generated from the Dreams+Krea output in just around 15 seconds. My position is being misunderstood, so let me clarify. In the first video, the officer is proposing to his legally wedded wife during a passing-out event. There is nothing objectionable in that, and I have no issue with it. My concern is with the second video. If the person being proposed to is a girlfriend/fiancée and not yet a legally declared spouse, then the matter is different. In the Armed Forces, procedures such as marriage declaration, dependent documentation, and official recognition exist for a reason. Until those formalities are completed and the individual becomes part of the military family through due process, using sensitive military premises, equipment, or restricted areas for personal photoshoots raises legitimate questions about protocol. This is not about opposing love, relationships, or personal happiness. It is about maintaining the same standards of discipline, security, and procedure that every soldier is expected to follow. Love deserves respect. Military protocols deserve respect too. The debate is about the latter not the former. 🇮🇳
