The answer is very simple, there have been many civilizations that have grown to extremely advanced levels and then been reset either by their own hands or by natural disasters. Also, the great pyramids are without question chemical refining machines specifically designed to refine gold that was mined from the world‘s most ancient gold mines in South Africa, which are proven and factual and scientist can’t figure out how they were mined so long ago, and by what means. But all of this is written out, explicitly in ancient Sumerian records. It’s just all being hidden from us.
Climate change. Glaciers receded and civilization became possible. The holocene began 10k years ago. Civilizations emerging around the same time isn't that mysterious.

I hate people like this. First he makes a claim that archaeology can't answer a question that archeology can answer perfectly well, and then he goes on a tirade of nonsense to try to sell his idea that people that studied this all their life and understand it profoundly are not suitable to answer these questions but he, a fucking idiot, is. If he doesn't know why humans spent thousands of years with little technological advancements, then he shouldn't be talking about anything related to this.
Exactly. The simultaneous spark of civilization after ages of stasis doesn’t look like random cultural evolution… it looks like a switch got flipped 👀👀
So let me ask you something, if today we were all gone and in 10000 years some humans or aliens searched for signs of civilizations from this time, who would they find first? Our cities or the villages of the people that still live in the jungle? Our cities right? So using the same logic, if there was advanced civilizations in the past why do we only find the remains of tribes and hunter-gatherers and zero, ZERO, evidence of those advanced civilizations?

We don't have the privledges of knowing the truth because the Smithsonian and Vatican literally keep all the ancient true history to a small group of families in the world. They dare not tell us because then the hold on us they have wouldn't be so easy
