Michael Jackson in the studio was a different beast. The way he flips from an aggressive, raw vocal to a soft, majestic voice almost instantly… holy fucking vocal control…🔥❤️

MJ vocal coach Seth Riggs spilling the tea on MJ voice : He always pushed Michael Jackson to use his beautiful natural speaking voice… but MJ wanted that youthful, high-pitched magic instead 😮‍💨 “He said hello in a perfectly male baritone voice… and I told him ‘Michael, why don’t you use that?’ He said ‘I don’t like it down there. I like it up there.’” The dedication to his Peter Pan sound was next level 🔥 Even his vocal coach couldn’t convince him!

he trained his voice throughout his life like an Olympic athlete trains his muscles. The effort he put in is unparalleled. It's said that he spent an entire hour warming up before singing a 5 second vocal. This is why MJ's voice sounds like a gateway to the holy portal 🫠🫠🫠

Michael purposely spoke in a higher tone to perserve his vocal cords for singing, but he was very capable of speaking/singing in a deeper voice & going right back into a higher voice. Here's Exhibit A & Exhibit B:

Before achieving global stardom, Michael Jackson was already showcasing a completely different side of his artistic talent. During a 1974 television performance with The Jackson 5, he sang “Killing Me Softly With His Song” in a softer, more controlled vocal style that contrasted with the group’s usual energetic sound. The performance highlighted a transitional moment in his voice, shifting from a youthful clarity to a more mature tone that he would develop later that same decade. Originally composed by Charles Fox and Norman Gimbel, and popularized by Roberta Flack in 1973, the song allowed Jackson to explore a more emotional and nuanced performance.

Michael Jackson's vocal coach: "We did vocal training 2 hours a day for 6 days a week. There was a time i was at the piano and Michael was holding a high C, i looked up and he was doing pirouettes, while holding a tenor high C!"

🔥 Inside JGGL Labs, the Voice Cloning feature is in its final stage — and it's already ahead of every other app on the market in vocal quality. ⚡️ The way it works: you record a voice sample, and JGGL reads the unique texture of your voice — the timbre, the character, every little detail — then builds a full track around it. 🎵 No studio, no vocal training, just a few taps on your smartphone and JGGL do the rest.

🔥 If someone forged a Picasso, they could go to jail. But fake Michael Jackson songs were sold to the world, with real MJ vocal bits allegedly spliced in to hide the fraud. Damien Shields connects the dots.

Herbie Hancock went into the studio with Christina Aguilera to record A Song For You. She did 1 take & he was astonished — telling her it was perfect She said Huh? Oh no, that was just the scratch vocal 🤨” A scratch vocal is a throwaway take singers do just to sketch the song

So basically, he’s saying that Michael Jackson was cloned after being burned in the Pepsi commercial‼️ (That was definitely planned)‼️ So I did some digging‼️ It was a man that said he followed the van that left Michael Jackson’s house. They switched the van to get away from the media and then when he pulled up, he saw Michael Jackson getting out of a different Coroner van.

Pages over pages of rhapsodizing and marveling by studio engineers about Michael's superhuman vocal abilities: "Michael was 40 years old when he recorded 'Blue Gangsta.' His mental attitude combined with his physicality was at its height. The calisthenics he was pulling off, the highs and lows, the loud and quiet, and the way he worked the microphone, I mean, I learned so much from Michael, it was ridiculous.”

Let’s be real, those two moves aren’t even on the same level at all, Beyonce took it way too far and better without any assistance while Michael Jackson was assisted with a shoe trick specially designed for that and was barely even singing, half the time he was lip syncing. This was during Beyoncé’s I Am… World Tour era (around 2009–2010) during “Freakum Dress,” performing alongside guitarist Bibi McGill. She was in 4–4.5 inch custom performance heels, and still went into that deep backbend almost parallel to the floor without breaking vocal control. This is harder in terms of physical control, vocal control and artistic risk. Vocally, she was hitting strong mixed belts around E5–F#5 while keeping a gritty, rock-style delivery in the arrangement. That performance is one of the reasons people started calling Beyoncé an “athletic performer” rather than just a singer/dancer. VH1 even specifically mentioned the moment, describing her “bending over backwards in such an impossible way” while still belting live. 💯👌🏾#Beyonce

Whitney Houston only appeared in the Top Of The Pops studio once in the 80s but what a performance it was! A live vocal of "I Wanna Dance With Somebody" in 1987. A master at her craft ❤️🙏🏼
