The IRS is giving you a 100% write-off for buying Bitcoin miners. Under current tax law, Bitcoin mining hardware qualifies for 100% bonus depreciation. An entire empire was overthrown over a two percent tax on a breakfast beverage. Look at what you tolerate now. You are taxed when you earn it. Taxed when you spend it. Taxed when you save it. SHOULD GOVERNMENT BE ALLOWED TO TAKE PRIVATE PROPERTY? “People are waking up to the fact that the asset seizure tax is an elimination of private property rights, that fundamentally what you're saying [is] that private property now becomes public property. Because as soon as you give the government the right to collect your post-tax assets through a legislative vote, you are basically saying that you no longer have private property — because at any point in the future the government can vote to say I'm going to take your private property — which is different than an income tax. [An income tax] is when you earn something that you didn't have before, and they take a percentage of your earnings (of your income). The statement now is after you've made your income (it's now your private property) — they can come and take it. And so that is a distinction that has never existed in the United States. And I will make the retort right now to property tax, because people always say to me: ‘what about property tax?’ A property tax is a service fee on a particular, specific asset. The money that is collected provides services for that asset to make it more valuable. So you get roads, infrastructure, policing, fire, schools… All the stuff that comes with property tax makes that property [more valuable]. And you have the option at any point you want to sell that property and stop paying that property tax. You have the option at any point to downgrade your property and get a cheaper property and pay [a lower tax]. And here's the other important point about property tax: it’s uniform. Uniform means that everyone pays the same percentage, the same property tax rate in a county. This asset seizure tax that's being proposed is a demographic tax — meaning that the state or the legislature defines a specific group of individuals (in this case, they're saying anyone with a net worth over a billion dollars) and then they can go and take assets from only that group. That is nonuniform taxation. It means that for the first time we're saying based on the demographics of a person meaning whatever you want to use to define that person (in this case their wealth) — you are going to be treated differently. And that is different than an income tax, because remember when you have graduated income tax rates (and you say high earners get taxed more) — what you're taxing is the earnings, not the individual. You're not looking through to the individual to determine whether or not they're wealthy. All you're doing is looking at the independent earnings amount that's coming in. And so a uniformity clause is supposed to protect people from being demographically discriminated against. And you may roll your hand and be like: ‘Oh, who cares about the billionaires? Eat the rich. That's great.’ But fundamentally, you're giving the government, the legislature, the ability to in the future take any demographic definition they want and go in and take any percentage they want of after-tax property from you. So let's say if you witnessed a murder and you're a woman and you want to go to the court and say that you witnessed, you witnessed a murder, there should be three women. So your witness, like your words will be approved in the court versus if it's a man and it witnessed a murder, only one man is enough. Why? Because they say women have half a brain. If you're a woman in Iran, you have kids and you want to divorce, you only can have that child until seven years. After 7 years, your child is for your husband and he can come and take the child away from you and you might never, ever see your child again. Or if he doesn't want to, he can leave this child with you and there is nothing that you can do about it. If you're a woman in Iran and you want to divorce your husband, oh, you have to go through hell. But if your husband wants to divorce you, it's super easy for them. If you're a woman in Iran and you're being beaten up by your husband and me as your neighbor, call the police and say, you know, my neighbor is, you know, hitting his wife to death. Police will do nothing. They will say, well, it's a family matter and it is his wife. So basically a wife for a man is like an object, just like they bought a car or something. If you're a woman in Europe and you want to travel out of country, you have to have the approval from your father if you're single or your brother if you don't have a father, if you're married, you have to have the approval from your husband. So basically your husband has to sign a paper that gives you the permission to leave the country. And let's say your husband said, you can't keep the kid until that kid is 18 years old, you have no right over that kid. — If you're a woman and you walk into your home and you see your husband with another woman and you get mad and you kill them, you will be hanged. But if you're a man, you walked in a room and get your husband with another man, you can kill both of them and nothing's gonna happen to you. In Iran, you will be hanged. If you kill someone, that's a punishment. But if you're a woman and you kill someone and your punishment is hanging, but you are virgin, they will first rape you before they hang you. I know that you can't even put this in your imagination, but that is true. Because in Islam, you cannot hang a virgin woman. In Iran, if a woman does not want to sleep with the husband and have sex, and the husband basically force you and kind of rape you, actually it does not count as a rape. So your husband can basically force you to have a sex, and there is nothing that you can do about it. In Iran, a woman cannot sing. No man can hear your voice singing. In Iran, if you're a woman and you get raped, do you know what's the first thing that they ask you? What did you do that they raped you as a woman? In Iran, we get sexually assaulted every day. Me, myself, I've been in Iran for 27 years, I've been sexually assaulted every day. Not by raping, but you're walking in the street, they will touch your butt, they will touch you, they will say nasty things in your ear. So I want to go over few rules and laws in Iran about women. Basically, it's everything against what democrats believe. So if you're a woman in Iran, you basically, they see you as a half a brain, so you don't have the full brain. So let's say if you witnessed a murder and you're a woman and you want to go to the court and say that you witnessed, you witnessed a murder, there should be three women. So your witness, like your words will be approved in the court versus if it's a man and it witnessed a murder, only one man is enough. Why? Because they say women have half a brain. If you're a woman in Iran, you have kids and you want to divorce, you only can have that child until seven years. After 7 years, your child is for your husband and he can come and take the child away from you and you might never, ever see your child again. Or if he doesn't want to, he can leave this child with you and there is nothing that you can do about it. If you're a woman in Iran and you want to divorce your husband, oh, you have to go through hell. But if your husband wants to divorce you, it's super easy for them. If you're a woman in Iran and you're being beaten up by your husband and me as your neighbor, call the police and say, you know, my neighbor is, you know, hitting his wife to death. Police will do nothing. They will say, well, it's a family matter and it is his wife. So basically a wife for a man is like an object, just like they bought a car or something. So they will not interfere and they will see that, say that it's their personal problem, it's not our problem. If you're a woman in Europe and you want to travel out of country, you have to have the approval from your father if you're single or your brother if you don't have a father, if you're married, you have to have the approval from your husband. So basically your husband has to sign a paper that gives you the permission to leave the country. And let's say your husband said, you can't keep the kid until that kid is 18 years old, you have no right over that kid. — If you're a woman and you walk into your home and you see your husband with another woman and you get mad and you kill them, you will be hanged. But if you're a man, you walked in a room and get your husband with another man, you can kill both of them and nothing's gonna happen to you. In Iran, you will be hanged. If you kill someone, that's a punishment. But if you're a woman and you kill someone and your punishment is hanging, but you are virgin, they will first rape you before they hang you. I know that you can't even put this in your imagination, but that is true. Because in Islam, you cannot hang a virgin woman. In Iran, if a woman does not want to sleep with the husband and have sex, and the husband basically force you and kind of rape you, actually it does not count as a rape. So your husband can basically force you to have a sex, and there is nothing that you can do about it. In Iran, a woman cannot sing. No man can hear your voice singing. In Iran, if you're a woman and you get raped, do you know what's the first thing that they ask you? What did you do that they raped you as a woman? In Iran, we get sexually assaulted every day. Me, myself, I've been in Iran for 27 years, I've been sexually assaulted every day. Not by raping, but you're walking in the street, they will touch your butt, they will touch you, they will say nasty things in your ear. You're not safe anywhere. — This was just a very, very small amount of the things that's going on in Iran against women. So next time that any person that lives in Europe and in America and they want to support Iran's government, just think about all this, and shame on you if you do.”
