Michael Saylor: in the long run, whether we join the S&P 500 doesn't really matter On November 23, MicroStrategy co-founder Michael Saylor said in a CoinDesk podcast interview that whether the S&P 500 includes them doesn't matter in the long run. In discussing how Bitcoin and digital assets are... being accepted by the financial world, he pointed out that these assets once faced challenges from credit rating agencies and regulators — even the Basel regulations assigned Bitcoin a value of zero. But now those institutions have started to accept Bitcoin. If Bitcoin truly is digital capital superior to gold, he argued, the invisible hand of the free market will allocate capital accordingly.
