Michael Spangler explaining that he agrees with Cajus Fabricius that what the Nazis did to the Jews was not "lacking Christian love" and describes it as a "great act of Christian charity". "In the treatment of Jews by Germans, no violation of Christian love is to be found"

Why is it that the men who talk the most abbot whites being “a superior race” are the most frail, weak, and sickly dudes? Mamdani can beat Spangler in a bench press contest.

Hey @PerfInjust, why is your "good man and good friend" calling the holocaust an act of Christian love?

It’s interesting how those who want to glorify the Nazi economic recovery in the 1930s don’t dwell on the unjust weights and measures to accomplish it (Mefo bills), unjust remuneration, and falsely propping up the economy via one industry, i.e. rearmament of the nation.

Are you admitting that Michael doesn't affirm murder for genetics as Christian charity and that you never intended to communicate this? That qualification is conspicuously absent from your posts. Your audience might like that info, Ethan. Or are you lying again?

I'm pretty sure Spangler denies the holocaust occurred but who knows (he'd have to unless he has the balls to endorse it), my meme mocks the idea Cajus's representation of things aligns with reality.

Jesus drove “the Jews” out of the temple? This raises the question: Who was Cajus Fabricius and why was he such a fool?

This is a wicked man, without the Spirit. He doesn’t know anything about Christian charity.

So the Holocaust happened, and it was good that it did? Most men aren’t courageous enough to hold that position. I’ll give him points for consistency.

Is his justification for this opinion due to a denial of the holocaust? What’s the deal here. What sort of treatment did he think Jews were getting?

It must be an undercover agent trying to tarnish the image of Christianity. It's impossible.

Did Joab have Christian love when he slayed the Edomites? Did Saul have Christian love when he slayed the Amalekites?

If he’s talking about Germans that hid Jews from the Nazis, he’s correct. I suspect that’s not what he’s talking about…

First of all, there were no Christians (born-again) of the Spirit of God who existed in Germany's Lutheran and Reformed population. None. They were, by birthright, Lutherans, German Reformed, or even Catholic. What I am saying here is that the doctrines/confessions/catechisms indirectly dictated the means to an end and perpetuated antisemitism. If some were outspoken against the atrocities, it was because the Spirit of God so moved them. These dark days are back.

Sincere important question: when was the book Spangler is reading from published? Was it before or after 1939? If before, Spangler can always squirm his way out by saying that the passage was written before the Holocaust, which never happened.

The Great 🇮🇱 Noticing ✡️ Continues Martin Luther’s view of jews changed drastically over time. Early in his reform movement, he hoped that jews would convert to Christianity once it was freed from Catholic corruption. But by the 1540s, after seeing that they had not accepted his message, his attitude turned fiercely hostile. He came to see jews not only as nonbelievers but as enemies of the Gospel, believing their religious texts, especially the Talmud, insulted Christ and undermined Christian faith. His disillusionment transformed into anger, which he expressed in increasingly severe terms. In 1543, Luther published "On the jews and Their Lies", a long and aggressive denunciation. He accused jews of deceit, greed, and of corrupting Scripture, claiming their synagogues and schools spread blasphemy. He called on Christian rulers to burn synagogues, confiscate jewish books, ban rabbis from teaching, and expel jews from their lands. He argued that these harsh measures were necessary to protect Christian society and faith from what he saw as jewish hostility. Luther’s writings carried enormous weight in Protestant Europe. His authority gave legitimacy to deep-seated prejudices, fueling discrimination and persecution for centuries. What began as a theological dispute grew into a lasting pattern of hostility that shaped European attitudes toward jews long after his death. His fierce conviction in defending what he believed to be divine truth shows both the passion and the peril of his reforming spirit — a legacy that profoundly altered religious and social history.
