Jensen Huang predicts within a decade, companies will build their own small nuclear reactors to power AI factories. HUANG: "In the next six, seven years, I think you're going to see a whole bunch of small nuclear reactors. We'll all be power generators. ... it takes the burden off the grid, you could build as much as you need, and you can contribute back to the grid."

A major gas field in the UK could supply over 10% of the UK's energy, but that gas isn't destined for the grid. The plan instead is to extract it on site, burn it in a local power plant, and use that electricity to mine bitcoin. The energy will be consumed at the source, because that route is simpler and more profitable. Taxes, regulation and grid constraints all add friction. The gas could power homes. It isn't. Because burning it on site makes more money. That is a damning indictment of UK energy policy.

It extrapolates the cost of Hinkley C (the most expensive nuclear power plant ever) and literally doubles it. Even the CSIRO assumes lower nuclear capital costs for Australia. 2/ '4% of the grid' This figure is also from the 'Smart' Energy Council from dividing 11GW of nuclear capacity by 300GW of renewable capacity. However, Capacity ≠ Generation. 1GW of renewable capacity generates roughly a third of the power of 1GW of nuclear capacity. 3/ 'Not ready til the 2040s' The IAEA predicts it would take 10-15 years for a new to nuclear country to have nuclear power. The is the advice the Australian Government relies on for nuclear yet is being ignored by the PM & Energy Minister. These claims must be exposed. The nuclear disinformation campaign has gone too far. Trawsfynydd Nuclear Power Station. Hands down nuclear power is the safest and most abundant source of energy mankind has ever discovered. It is clean, can be reusable (breeder reactors), and has a body count far far less than all other energy production methods. It is the epitome of green. Which is why they dont want you to have it and deliberately conflate nuclear power with nuclear weapons. Meanwhile all the major tech companies are planning to build small modular nuclear power stations for their data centres whilst pushing the green agenda.
