@AlexCKaufman @RitaB66 @RadiantNuclear The CMEC-96 could be.... there and not affected at all. Heck it even has plans to be rolled out in shipping containers for this but the biggest i must say would be its non-nuclear and fossil fuel free. Oh and can be scaled to fit the needs of an area.

A major gas field in the UK could supply over 10% of the UK's energy, but that gas isn't destined for the grid. The plan instead is to extract it on site, burn it in a local power plant, and use that electricity to mine bitcoin. The energy will be consumed at the source, because that route is simpler and more profitable. Taxes, regulation and grid constraints all add friction. The gas could power homes. It isn't. Because burning it on site makes more money. That is a damning indictment of UK energy policy.

That is why I’m looking at nuclear energy and uranium. The U.S. consumes roughly 50 million pounds of uranium a year and produces only about one million. If nuclear becomes a bigger part of the energy solution, demand for uranium could become enormous.

It is clean, can be reusable (breeder reactors), and has a body count far far less than all other energy production methods. It is the epitome of green. Which is why they dont want you to have it and deliberately conflate nuclear power with nuclear weapons. Meanwhile all the major tech companies are planning to build small modular nuclear power stations for their data centres whilst pushing the green agenda.
