Right now, when you click Start, open File Explorer, launch Edge, or right-click for a context menu, and there’s often that tiny micro-stutter before anything happens. Windows 11’s June 2026 Patch Tuesday update is out today, and the biggest change is Performance, not AI. Windows 11 KB5094126 finally brings Microsoft’s new Low Latency Profile to everyone. Microsoft calls it a “General Performance” improvement, but the idea is simple: when you open Start, Search, Action Center, or key shell experiences, Windows briefly pushes the CPU to max frequency for 1–3 seconds so the UI responds faster. I tested it earlier, and the difference is most obvious on budget PCs. Start feels snappier, Search opens faster, and those tiny Windows 11 micro-stutters are reduced. The catch: because of Microsoft’s Controlled Feature Rollout, installing today’s update does not guarantee it is enabled yet. Marcus Ash, who leads Design and Research for Windows and Devices, says Microsoft is working on making context menus faster, simpler by default, and configurable to what you use most. That last part is huge. Windows 11’s context menu was supposed to fix the cluttered Windows 10 right-click menu. Instead, it became slower, padded, inconsistent, and still messy. Microsoft's new Outlook takes more than 10 seconds to open an email via notifications, while Outlook Classic opens instantly on Windows 11! The funniest part? If I ignore the notification, open Outlook manually, find the email myself, and click it, I can finish faster than the notification flow. It's all because Outlook for Windows is literally Microsoft Edge running Outlook .com in a browser window. New Outlook runs through WebView2 with around 10 separate processes: GPU process, service worker, utility processes, manager, and more. It uses roughly 490MB to 636MB RAM while idle, compared to Outlook Classic sitting around 117MB to 148MB. CPU usage is also worse: around 4% idle on new Outlook versus under 1% on Classic in my testing. Microsoft shut down Mail and Calendar, keeps pushing enterprises toward this web wrapper, and still wants people to believe it is the future of email on Windows. SHAME!

🌟 New mini feature today on Photo AI It now auto recognizes your model's attributes when you upload photos of yourself Like gender, age, ethnicity, eye color, etc This uses xAI's Grok because it's the least restricted and other models don't let you do any identity type stuff due to safety (???) This saves new users a few more seconds when creating new models: training a model takes only about 30 seconds now, and then it also auto generates free sample pics for you in about 5-10 seconds So in under a minute of signing up and uploading a few selfies you got your first AI photo shoot pics I learnt the faster I get new users to the classic "WOW" moment the happier they get and the less churn I get 😊

The thing I help hitters with the most.. (1 good way to train it👇🏼) They start on time but never actually get loaded to GO. They think they’re ready. They’re not. So they start earlier next time. Same problem. —— This is a conversation I have with almost every hitter. When is the right time for you? - Based on your load style - Based on how long your load takes - Based on the pitcher’s velo, windup, or slide step —— If that’s you, try a “loaded at release” type load. Bobby Witt. Judge. Get your hip and elbow loaded early. Then stride with it ready to fire. “The pitcher is up there for 20 seconds telling you to get ready. Shame on you if you’re not ready to swing.” ____ If I have you in the cage, what I’ll do is have you get into a no stride position, get ready to swing and I stand there for 1-4 seconds… Holding my hand out over the plate ready to snap my fingers. When I snap, you swing. Do that 4-5x. You get the quickness, readiness feeling. Then we go back to stride with moving ball and you’re trying to time up that same GO move with the ball With your foot up in the air and the GO will make the foot go down. Not foot down then swing. That typically kills quickness. This works 95% of the time I’d say! —— > Send this to a hitter who needs it > Save it for when you need it.

(It can even beat GPU dataframe libraries) While Pandas is the most popular DataFrame library, it has some major limitations: - Pandas only uses a single CPU core. - It often creates bulky DataFrames - Its eager (immediate) execution prevents global optimization Introducing FireDucks a highly optimized, drop-in replacement for Pandas. Just change one line of code and you're good to go: ↳ import fireducks.pandas as pd The video below shows a comparison of FireDucks with cuDF—a GPU DataFrame library. In this case, it's even faster than cuDF. That said, the query in the video has chaining operations and it uses all columns. By manually optimizing and working only with the necessary columns, the run-time decreased to: - Pandas: 14 seconds (down from 48 seconds) - FireDucks: 0.8 seconds (unchanged) [SIMILAR] - cuDF: 0.9 seconds (down from 2.6 seconds) This demonstrates that FireDucks' compiler automatically performs the same optimizations that you would need to explicitly implement in cuDF and Pandas. Most importantly, the optimization does not affect the final result.
