Kind of a shame they’re using Hydra just for the distribution. If it’s only for a single claim, people probably won’t feel any real speed difference. Would be better to test Hydra on something that involves multiple actions.

Not enough people actually understand what Cardano's Hydra L2 actually is... - Put simply, Hydra is an L2 scaling network built directly on top of $ADA. - It works by opening offchain 'mini ledgers' called 'Hydra Heads'. - Txns occur within these Heads off the main chain without waiting for full consensus, resulting in near-instant settlement and ultra low fees. - Txns inside a Hydra Head use the same smart contract logic and rules as the main Cardano blockchain, making integration seamless for devs. - As more Hydra Heads are opened across the network, the overall capacity of Cardano increases, allowing massive parallel processing. And that's basically it!

SCAMMER ALERT!!! FIRST OF ALL IT WAS THE REAL ACCOUNT, NOT IMPERSONATOR. MAX RETWEET TO GET HIS ASS WHOOPED! I would like to share with my friend an experience about a deal he wanted to make with the famous guy named Hydra! 300k$ inventory scammer? What’s your opinion on it? Today my close friend M1nato m1nato tried to deal with a guy whose nickname is Hydra by selling him a karambit blue gem 828 WW for 6k$ This guy “Hydra” asked him to give m1nato’s discord so he can call him. After that they had a very interesting conversation. First, Hydra said he don’t want to use any middleman in the deal because he doesn’t trust to any but he said that's OK to send money first BUT there was one interesting thing, Hydra’s said : “I will send you money first but you have to send the karambit after that, when you got a money then I will accept the trade” He then started sending screenshots as proof of his transaction. He said that he uses metamask and can only send ETH. M1nato gave him his ETH address, and Hydra said that the money had been sent and provided his screenshots as proof. After m1nato said that there were no "in progress" transactions or anything like that in his wallet, Hydra started saying "I didn't send you money, my friend did" and after that he added his friend to voice call. and he began sharing screenshots of “evidence” of the transaction. But m1nato asked for a link of ETH transaction (he asked to click on that chrome extension > activity > and then click on the transaction but it was not clickable at all) Then m1nato asked to copy his ETH address on the top of extension and WOW it was also not clickable xD Besides he sent this address MX5odFuBiDcGy1fbo6mHoeJAebJaUi5jbG and told it’s ETH and when m1nato asked to explain that because ETH address starts with 0x…. he had nothing to say And the one more thing that was strange to m1nato: he has 15.9 ETH in his balance (which is ~$49,700), but only shows $9,350. After that m1nato asked to explain everything, but Hydra began to say : “You are scammer! I will report you! I didn’t expect that Ukrainian can be such a rat”. Hydra originally from Georgia. And also that the second Hydra account was banned by Steamrep and when m1nato said to explain, Hydra started saying that this was not his account. He said : "This is my friend's account" , and he just asked him if he could put the same nickname. He already bought it with this ban. BUT after about 10 minutes he probably forgot what he said and said his friend got banned by SteamRep due to a skeleton blue gem scam that someone already tweeted about) After all he deleted and blocked m1nato on Steam and Discord. Now guys you know the situation and I'm asking you to be careful with this guy! Would appreciate if you can report one and another account. Here is his links for both accounts : (account where Skeleton blue gem got scammed from) Proofs below:

Strategy CEO: Bitcoin Will Only Be Sold Under Two Conditions On May 9, 2025, Strategy CEO Phong Le Phong Le addressed the company's strategic pivot from a "never sell" stance to actively managing its Bitcoin holdings during an interview with CNBC. Le expressed a "math over ideology" approach, stating that the company will only sell Bitcoin under specific conditions: first, to pay dividends for STRC (perpetual preferred stock) when it is more accretive to "Bitcoin per share" than issuing new equity; and second, for tax optimization purposes, such as capturing or deferring tax gains and losses.

The arrests come when their ORGANIZED CRIME NATION House of Cards collapses, and they will be powerless and unable to fight off what will happen to them. You can try to kill the Hydra the stupid way, and consign the world to another 158 years of Darkness... or...you can destroy the Transnational Crime Franchise's crucial and precious INFRASTRUCTURE FIRST, by which they've been running/looting/oppressing the world, and especially the United States. Choose your Hydra fighting strategy WISELY, with logic and without emotion. Do you try to take down an extremely powerful and evil crime franchise deeply embedded within a carefully crafted infrastructure they've been painstakingly building for over 150 years in over 3 dozen nations... ...without reducing the infrastructure they rely on to protect themselves to rubble FIRST? Why would you try to take them out at the HEIGHT of their nefarious powers? Why not collapse the House of Cards FIRST, and THEN go and get them? Do you want to WIN the Silent War, or do you want to look noble and heroic while you get yourself and everyone else taken out with ease? This is not a job for morons. And morons are not running this destruction of the Old Guard.

The EU will adopt its 17th sanctions package against Russia on May 20th. It will mainly focus on countering Russia’s evasion of existing sanctions and targeting its shadow fleet. - The package blacklists over 100 vessels used by Russia to transport oil and gas in violation of EU sanctions and the G7 price cap. These vessels are often old, uninsured, and operate under flags of convenience to obscure ownership. The new EU measures include banning these ships from EU ports and services. More than 50 individuals and entities will be targeted, including: - Russian officials and entities involved in cyberattacks, human rights violations, and destabilizing activities. - Firms and individuals in third countries, such as China, suspected of helping Russia evade sanctions by supplying dual-use technologies or other restricted goods. The sanctions will involve asset freezes, travel bans and restrictions on financial transactions. - The 17th sanctions package will tighten restrictions on the export of dual-use goods (items with both civilian and military applications) to Russia. It will include enhanced measures to prevent Russia from acquiring advanced technologies, such as semiconductors, through third countries. - Additional measures target Russia’s financial sector, with sanctions on banks or financial institutions facilitating sanction evasion. Apart from the 17th package, 3 sanctions packages will be passed on May 20th. They address Russia’s hybrid activities (e.g., cyberattacks, disinformation), human rights violations and use of chemical weapons. Collectively, these four packages are described as the "broadest ever simultaneous use of multiple EU sanctions against Russia," with over 130 individual sanctions across them.
