I remember watching that Texas Tech v Texas game and going, Crabtree is going to get the ball and score... and then that play happens and it was nuts... one of the greatest CFB plays IMO.

I heard Leach speak once and he said that they ran something like 80 plays vs Texas Tech and ran vert 65 times, 4 out of 5 plays on the final drive. He then said he wished he would have run it 75 out of 80, then the game might not have been so close. 😂

That was really poor technique by the CB. That’s definitely should not have worked vs that coverage. Back shoulder throw vs trail man technique I’m going to sit in my locker for 2 days if my CB gave that up and I’m the CB coach

Became famous for how strange he was. Although many touted him as an offensive genius, he wasn’t even able to win 60% of his games. The thing that is most unlikable about Leach was how often, and how blatantly, he blamed his players for poor performances.
