Brit here. Good idea and execution. I would definitely smash a couple of them. However, this is Cottage Pie because of the beef. A Shepherd’s Pie is made with lamb or mutton.

Well done to the cook however shepards pie does not include cheese!

When did they put the crust on top? When they cut into the one, there was pastry over the potatoes. Looks wonderful

It’s not shepherds pie if it contains beef - shepherds look after sheep not cows.

I'd advise skipping the part where he runs a metal cutter all up & down that teflon coated baking sheet.

I’m English. This in no way resembles Shepherd’s Pie. SP is lamb, not beef, has no pastry, no cheese, no peas. These look nice, but they’re not what you’re claiming they are.

Is the meat supposed to be that dry? I was happy to see the gravy.
