🧵LATE NIGHT FILM THREAD because we sleep in August🧵 Let's talk about Sacramento Kings rookie Nique Clifford I always like to see the 2nd Summer League game for a lot of rookies. Just to see who has rapidly adjusted after getting their "feet wet" in the first game. Great work from Nique to attack the glass and high point the defensive board. Then we're off to the races. Clifford does a good job of playing with pace, before a nice drive and kick to Maxime Raynaud.

The famous 16th hole at Cypress Point. Playing 220 to the pin. Wind howling to the left and into. Last time, I tried to muscle a 3 wood and ended up drowning. This time I went with the bunt driver. It’s the rare golf hole so impactful to play that you think about it the entire round. Heck, I was thinking about it the day the round was scheduled. It’s so hard. It’s so beautiful. It’s the most thrilling golf shot in the entire world.

At Ardfin, one thing you get that is often missing in modern golf course architecture is the Heroic golf hole. Golf holes that instill fear. That require long clubs and long carries. Golf holes with no escape. The 2nd hole is a 210 yard par 3 with a 180 yard carry. Playing 20 yards longer into the wind. Yes it’s hard. Yes I saw good players top the ball into the nether. But the reward is so satisfying when you hit the great shot.
