There's a new AI-native IDE out there named Aide, and there are four things I like about it: 1. It's open-source 2. It's proactive and suggests changes before you ask 3. It uses an intermediate layer between the editor and LLM 4. It's SOTA on the SWE-Bench benchmark I'm excited about #3 because this layer (called "Sidecar") will help people connect any model to the IDE. While this isn't possible right now, it's clearly the goal. Sidecar is also open-source. As I write this, the code agent behind Aide, "CodeStory Midwit Agent," is second in the Verified SWE-Bench leaderboard (it finished in 2024 in the first place.) This is a huge deal! If I'm gonna have an agent help me code, it might as well be the best of the best. The proactive aspect is also cool: the IDE provides suggestions to improve your code without you having to ask. I recorded a quick video showing you how Aide works. The team behind the IDE partnered with me on this video. Right now, it feels like *everyone* is building AI-powered coding tools. Okay I take everything back I was on the Suno 3.5 free model which produces very bad vocals This is Suno 4.5+ with the new vocal model it's really really good As a Drum & Bass head, I'd say it's at the level of D&B of about ~5 years ago, very passable as real, every song is very SUB FOCUS so that must have been a lot of the training, which means they picked the best artists of each genre (and maybe licensed them?) [Verse 2] Now I'm using the new Suno 4.5+ model It's so powerful Had to tweet about it Before I was using the Suno 3 free model And it was very bad This is groundbreaking

Let's be honest Claude Code was not working good with local LLMs. So, I Tried using OpenCode with LM Studio using Qwen 3.5 9B model on my RTX 5080 GPU. It's very usable and much faster than Claude Code. I'm actually planning to use this setup to build an entire vibe coded SaaS

This is a pretty wild model! You can use it to turn an image into a 3D object with texture. The quality is out of this world! I'm not even a designer, and I've been using this nonstop for the last 2 hours. The model is Hunyuan 3D 2.1. It's open source. You'll find model weights, training/inference code, data pipelines, and architecture on their repository. You can even fine-tune it if you want! GitHub Repository: By the way, the model runs on consumer-grade GPUs. You don't need a datacenter for this! I've been using the model from the HuggingFace demo page: To use it, go to the link and upload an image. That's it! Check out the video I recorded for a couple of examples.

If you're in that world and building AI applications, Microsoft Foundry is where everything lives: • Models (largest selection in the market) • Agentic SDK (Python, C#, JavaScript/TypeScript) • Tools • Evaluations • Monitoring They are fully integrated with GitHub and Visual Studio Code. The best part: Their agentic platform is fully agnostic of the models you use. You can integrate with any model using the same OpenAI-style API. Swapping one model for another takes 1 second.
