SO Gemini CLI announced they have a new flicker free experience, and also that they can embed interactive commands. But I can't for the life of me see it working. Wait why is it turned into an issue? If you simply look at the situation objectively, both Jimmy’s and Fot’s cars were waiting for Sea and Gemini, and both lanes were holding up traffic. The boys were running late for some reason. So, in order to get things moving, the man in the black shirt seemed to tell the manager to move Jimmy into Fot’s car so that at least one lane could clear while they were still waiting for Sea and Gemini to come out. You can see that shortly after Jimmy moved to Fot’s car, they all started leaving. Eventually, when Sea and Gemini came out, they all took the last car. So… what exactly is the problem here? I’m not a fan of her either, but everyone was simply doing their jobs and trying to manage the situation. There is literally nothing wrong with what happened. The fact that this even needs to be explained is already absurd. 🫩

Hermes Agent Desktop App is getting some major UI upgrades! In this short video, I demo how to drag different session context into your current project, as well as how to use multisession tabs and adjust the session panes to get the perfect layout. If you're always working on multiple projects like me, this really makes it easy to keep track of how each agent is working. Looking forward to seeing more upgrades in the Desktop App!

Let me save you hours of testing frontends. If you're ever working on a front-end, instead of writing tests, and adding puppeteer slop to your repo 1. Get an llm to write you with whatever needs to be tested 2. Copy that, go to browser 3. Open localhost with your selected app 4. Use Claude Chrome Extension or Parchi 5. Send it the prompt 6. QA engineering, there you go. Use models results and pass it back to your coding agent to fix whatever is flagged.

This version of Specs won’t be released after the backlash. Evan is a great speaker and visionary, but he looked goofy in them, he should have grown out his hair! (They don’t look as bad on other people: see video). $SNAP Specs are the closest thing we’ve gotten to a personal smartphone attached to our face, but the price is a bit too much; they need to be $1,500-1,800 range and the design obviously needs some tweaks. They aren’t too far off!

This is pretty incredible. Opus 5 can procedurally generate 3D worlds from reference images. You can also interact with objects in the generated world and they stay in place, pretty amazing. The iterative refinement from the agent is really impressive. I asked the agent to walk the world and improve it at every step. The visual quality refinement is substantial as the agent explores the world itself. Some visual examples in the next post. I am really impressed by the visual quality. There are still some minor issues but the run is not yet complete. On the other hand it has already burn through 15% of my weekly limits on Max!

MiniMax-M2.1 running fully local in AWQ-4Bit with full context window (170 GB VRAM w full context) - 1000~ to 16,000~ tps prefill - 100~ tps generation speeds - Opencode It’s doing real work, updating my blog with little steering or specificity. The problem with local LLMs is that they require too much steering, this means baby sitting which I don’t have the time to do MiniMax cracked the cost, intelligence, and speed challenge, I would say this is a top tier model. I run frontier models like Gemini and it just fails to call tools, in this year lol… ——————— I think glm-4.?-air is needed still. We need a viable model at each hardware entry point, a Mac M1 Ultra 192GB? is relatively cheap 5k to be able to run this model at 40 tps is a huge societal unlock. Smaller models can be good but size matters :p

These marathi language warriors what kind of attitude is this man ? his is exactly the kind of language policing that needs to be called out. 💀 The passenger is speaking Marathi himself and then literally forcing the cab driver to speak Marathi too. The driver is simply responding in English because the app is in English, and this guy still wants to argue about it. Imagine forcing a working person to speak your preferred language just because you can. 😂🤡
