Please do not take this seriously. Every time Joly opens her mouth it's a different story, and none of them turn out to be true. Trudeau restated it just last week: he supports Zionist Israel. This pitch by Joly is a reaction to Craig Sauvé's lead in the Montreal by-election.

We are still waiting for the Prime Minister (Justin Trudeau) to say something on the record today after the entire world saw the horrifying and apocalyptic images coming out of Rafah, of children being blown to pieces and people being burned alive. We note that Minister Joly (Mélanie Joly) did rise in Question Period to suggest that the images out of Rafah were terrible and that the ICJ’s ruling was binding. The Minister did not name the perpetrators of the massacre of children. When the PM does issue a follow-on statement, if the statement does not take clear action in clearly backing the ICC’s investigation into the war crimes of Netanyahu, by issuing a clear statement that Canadians participating in IDF operations in Rafah will not be tolerated, or by leading with sanctions against the Netanyahu government, this government’s words will mean very little. The ICJ has suggested that there is a plausible genocide in the region, and specifically put forward new provisional orders calling for Israel not to attack Rafah. We can see with our own eyes that this is beyond horrifying. Canada must take action, and take action now.

When asked if Canada has been sending arms to Israel, Mélanie Joly outrageously claimed that "there [have] been no weapons sent under my watch," and suggested that Canada is exporting only "non-lethal" military goods like night vision goggles and protective gear. In reality, Canada exported over $49M in military goods to Israel in the first two years that Joly became Foreign Affairs Minister, and she continues to approve arms exports despite the risk of genocide. The top categories of exports include 1) bombs, torpedoes, rockets, missiles, other explosive devices (and related components); 2) military aircraft and/or related components, and 3) military spacecraft and/or related components. We are a country that has always valued and will always value peace. Our peace can only withstand such aggression by force of arms. I know that 🇨🇭 is having a discussion about permits to re-export weapons to protect 🇺🇦. And I want every participant in the discussion to remember one fact: we are asking the world for weapons to make our 🇺🇦 territory a territory of peace again. All our land, all our people...
