Hong Kong Roast Goose 📍 Hong Kong 🇭🇰 Explore Hong Kong: In the crowded, steaming roast meat shops of Hong Kong, roast goose sits at the top of the culinary hierarchy. Achieving that shattered-glass crispy skin and meltingly tender meat requires precision techniques refined over generations. Chefs blow air between the skin and meat, glaze the bird in a bath of maltose syrup and spices, and hang it to dry before roasting in intense vertical drum ovens. As the rendered fat drips into the collection pans below, it creates a rich, fragrant liquid gold that gets poured right back over the sliced meat before serving. how to evolve generative art 🦠✨👇 over the past weeks I built this toy 'proof-of-concept' example to explore and better understand how open-form generative art works, and discover some of the new archetypes it enables. In open-form genart each mint at the root of a project can define its own lineage: properties, traits, and characteristics that carry over to new editions evolved from it. For example, in this demo, the first parent defines the color palette that's used for the pixel pattern — these colors are then inherited by subsequent evolutions (with a random chance to alter a color or introduce a new one). But that's just scratching the tip of the iceberg — the REALLY COOL thing is that the root mint also specifies the rules that define how the pixel pattern morphs and changes over the course of its lineage! Meaning that each branch in this collection is its own unconstrained system, that evolves, and is explored by minting and evolving new editions. in this setting collectors play a huge role to explore the parametric space of the project ✨ on fxhash the UI will be much cleaner and more intuitive 🫧

Vintage Editions - a brief history and what’s next. In 2023 I released my first 3 editions on eth. My goal was to create a collection of quality vintage animations, on par with my 1/1 artworks. The reception blew me away, over 4,000 folks registered for two artworks with a total of 175 editions. In 2025 I set a goal to go all in and released 5 more editions throughout the year. Bringing the collection to 340 editions via 8 artworks with a total of 168 holders. Each work in this series can take two weeks and even a month to create as I obsesses on each pixel. I’m very proud of how it turned out. My plan is being consistent and adding to the collection yearly, with enough love and time it will become an epic collection of animated vintage loops. Nothing quite like it in our space. At the beginning of the year I set out to make as much work as I can physically can in 2026. I find that healing. keeping my mind busy while dealing with grief. My notebook is of full of ideas and sketches and once again I’m going all in. Excited to see how this collection shapes up in 2026 along with the new distortions series. This week we kick off this year's Vintage Editions next chapter adding two new pieces and one more via a burn in July. The first piece “Mob Mentality” is a special edition of 7 for select top collectors of mine. Minting tomorrow. The second piece is “Hell of a Time”. Hong Kong is SO back. The city this morning celebrated its 29th birthday free of being a British colony--with a host of stunning statistics. At the ceremony, Chief Executive John Lee shared, in a video and a speech, some remarkable achievements of the urban center on the south coast of China. I’ll just share a few highlights: - First quarter Hong Kong GDP growth figures for 2026 show 5.9 per cent expansion, which is extremely good for a mature developed society. (For comparison, the US is at 2 per cent and UK is 1.3 per cent.) - We had 49 million people coming to Hong Kong in 2025, making us one of the world’s top international destinations. - Hong Kong regained its crown as the number one share-market launch capital in the world, beating London and New York. - If you look at a list of top ten universities across the whole of Asia, you find that five of the ten are in a single city – yes, Hong Kong. - Hong Kong has become Muslim-friendly (there are 2 billion Muslims in the world) with halal food options and Qurans in hotel guestrooms. It has just been rated one of the top two Islam-friendly tourist destinations. - And more companies are coming here, too – the number of foreign companies registered here in Hong Kong has hit a record high. - An innovative scheme using “light public housing” means that Hong Kong is finally solving its decades-old struggle with shabby, subdivided flats. Public housing waiting lists fell by one and a half years. - A global survey of technology clusters revealed that the highest performing one IN THE WORLD is the Shenzhen- Hong Kong-Guangzhou cluster. Tonight I’m flying my A350 to Hong Kong, and honestly, it still feels like one of those routes that never loses its magic. There’s something about heading east into the night, knowing you’re about to drop into a city that’s part skyline, part harbour, part mountain, and completely unforgettable. My Hong Kong top 3? 1.The approach. Few arrivals in the world feel as cinematic, water below, hills in the distance, and then that incredible moment when the city starts to glow. 2.The food. You can have the fanciest dinner in town, but sometimes the best Hong Kong memory is still a simple bowl of noodles after landing. 3.The energy. It’s fast, elegant, and full of life… the kind of place that gets under your skin and stays there. But the slow pace of a Star Ferry ride is unbeatable. Hong Kong has my first commercial airliner destination and it’s grown to be my favourite. I love how it blends aviation, travel, and pure atmosphere into one place. Some cities you visit. Hong Kong feels like one you return to in your head, long after you’ve left. #aviation #travel #hongkong

Elon Musk’s first public mention of tunnels solving urban traffic was in a Jan 26, 2016 Hong Kong interview (around min 9): “The problem with cities is that we build cities in 3D, we see tall buildings with lots of people in each floor, but you have roads that are 2D, and that obviously just doesn’t work. You’re guaranteed to have gridlock. Hong Kong is in the process of building some tunnels… that really is a solution of traffic in major cities.” Just days later, he referenced it at the Hyperloop competition at Texas A&M (Jan 29-30). The things that happen are real things that happened to people close to me. That is true of all the episodes in the film. But why do people complain that they cannot understand it? The facts are so simple, they can be taken by every one as similar to the experience of their own lives. But here we come up against something that is peculiar to cinema: the further a viewer is from the content of a film, the closer he is; what people are looking for in cinema is a continuation of their lives, not a repetition. There are no entertaining moments in the film. In fact I am categorically against entertainment in cinema: it is as degrading for the author as it is for the audience. The purpose of 'Mirror', its inspiration, is that of a homily: look, learn, use the life shown here as an example. We are many things, but overall we are an anime entertainment project, and we show you we have the knowledge to do animation even before launching, thats our level of commitment.
