It was reported in 2010, a German IPCC representative was quoted as saying the crisis was more about redistribution of funds to less developed nations than anything about the science. And then with all the possible sources of CO2 entering the atmosphere... it was only the use of fossil fuels that was the problem.

I remember thinking this in 2004 after I read "State of Fear" by Michael Crichton. I felt that this could metastasize throughout all of our scientific fields if we're not careful. Fast forward 20 years and now government funded science can't even define a male and female.

CNN does the whole "Trump doesn't believe science" bit and then has on a climate scientist who helped to write the report. The "scientist" says that climate change is causing property values to drop along the Florida coast. 😂 From 2020-2022 the prices of Florida coastal property skyrocketed.
