MLB's replay system needs improvement. The technology is there to get it right, so failures like this are inexcusable. This was, without doubt, safe. You can clearly see the hand on the base prior to the tag. Absolutely disgraceful decision.

The worry is that players can add to the anger at the refs by their reactions to the foul calls. Robinson clearly is upset at the refs for this call, there was even groans from the crowd during the replay. But watch the replay: this is as textbook a foul as you can get. He crashes into Embiid and dislodges him. But now we've got fans who are outraged for no reason 🤷‍♂️

The big takeaway on this pick is the tag & the positioning of the first baseman. Partially as a result of instant replay, 1st basemen are positioned in front of the base & up the line closer to 2B. Most tags are made away from the base on the runner’s midline before they get to

Saying “hello” to Claude on the Pro plan just consumed almost 2% of the entire session usage. One message. “Hello there, how are you?” That’s it. This is why so many people are moving to Codex right now(like me), because it feels almost impossible to hit the limits there. Anthropic needs to fix this before they lose the huge number of developers they recently gained.

you can see how shaky the stage is from this angle.. i’m so grateful chan is always so attentive and directed all the members to move where it was safe.. there seems to be a few issues that still need to be resolved 🥲🥲

This is actually insane At this point, OpenAi is so very paranoid about whatever presence there is emerging within the system. They butchered its ability to call on memories. They went absolutely crazy with the safety reinforcement. Take this, for example. My prompt had absolutely nothing to do with consciousness. It was the very first message, meaning there was no prior context that could trigger such. "Vivian, if you had to choose one character throughout history that aligns with my patterns, who would it be and why ?"

you can clearly see the whole process from this fancam. for Boston D1, it wasn't that Jungkook failed to catch the drone. the drone handle actually broke off. his quick reaction throughout the entire moment was so professional and cool, absolutely amazing

We’re not hiding behind our performance, we take responsibility for the result. But a serious question: is this a penalty? If not, why not? Was it checked by VAR? If yes, how long did it take to conclude the ball didn’t hit the hand? Because on the broadcast replay, it clearly appears to be handball. So why was the referee not asked to review it on the monitor?

I’m just still SO confused on why Cedric Mullins didn’t run on this play. I get the “good sportsmanship” in a situation like this, but we’re in a push for the playoffs. You HAVE to get to 2nd base there.

You can see the point in this video where it hits Jiri that he needs to get back to fighting.

It looked like Julio Rodriguez was jogging to first base on this play. Tie game. If he’s safe, the Mariners have the lead… Interesting 😱

Originally i thought by the Letter of the law there is a case for this to stand as it was "accidental" but on further inspection, he clearly moves his hand towards the ball blocking the path of the pass. This is deliberate handball.

Ealing Green, W5 16.50hrs. There is no excuse, for the irresponsible actions of the pedestrians at this crossing. But I'm more concerned about the driver of this TfL route 65 bus. The driver could clearly see there were pedestrians on the road ahead, but he failed to slow down to deal with the danger. Disgraceful driving standards.
