@MathigonOrg @desmosclassroom @Amplify 🤯 Sooo beautiful!!!👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾 Really illustrates “___ groups of ____” so effectively to deepen understanding of fractions and multiplication of fractions. And soo user-friendly. One of my favorite tools right now.

@MathigonOrg @desmosclassroom @Amplify I love this! Will you also show how to multiply a mixed number by a fraction on Polypad, ie. start with 3.5 and multiply it by 4/5 to show that the answer is the same?

@MathigonOrg @desmosclassroom @Amplify Good question! The rename feature can be helpful here! Of course, the goal is to use these tools to make sense of the underlying mathematics so students can abstract the ideas and eventually solve these questions without manipulatives.
