Video of my first drive impressions of the Tesla Model Y L Premium Long Wheelbase. It has adaptive damping that noticeably improves ride comfort on bad roads versus the shorter Model Y Premium (LA is a great place to test this lol). While the new Model Y Performance also has adaptive damping, that is tuned more for sportiness. The Y L dampening is tuned for comfort, and even on the 20" Uberhelix wheels, it soaks up the bumps really well. The Model Y L also benefits from updates to Tesla's adaptive system controls, which improve the accuracy and latency of their actuator control. The Model Y L doesn't feel all that noticeably larger than the Model Y while driving it, but what is immediately noticeable is the improved rear view out the back window from the review mirror. Due to the shape of the glass and the rear, you get a taller, more expansive view. It's very quiet in every row, and the Y L even features improvements in this area versus the current Model Y. There is a new "Rear Comfort" setting that is exclusive to the Model Y L. Basically what that does is it prioritizes ride comfort for second and third rows over optimal steering and handling and first row comfort. My wife said it was her favorite second-row experience of any Tesla she's ever been in (which is all of them). The Model Y L just feels really refined overall. The driving dynamics, sound dampening, suspension, FSD, etc, it all just feels really dialed in, and I think when you test drive it, you will agree. As for FSD, I got to try FSD V14.3.7, and it's as you'd expect: amazing. I'm going to post a couple separate dedicated FSD videos later today.

I agree with you for the most part, the only problem is that OG Leon is just funnier, more likable and more entertaining. You can have a more consistent and "better" written character all day but people will simply gravitate to what's more enjoyable. I also became an RE4 fan in 2020 or so, but OG Leon just has the sauce lol.

SPACEX: Max Space announced a new contract to launch their Thunderbird via Falcon 9 in 2029. Thunderbird is an expandable space station that launches compactly and inflates in orbit to 350 cubic meters of pressurized volume. It is designed for a continuous/sustained presence of a core crew of 4, and up to eight for short stays. It prioritizes greater living and working space, comfort, reconfigurable interiors, and private quarters. SpaceX will also launch the first crew via Crew Dragon on an unspecified date. We’re improving model personality so Codex feels even better for pair programming. But we think pair programming with agents is a local optimization. The longer term pattern is delegation. Most people just aren’t asking agents to do ambitious enough work. The people who are delegating use Codex.

It can be assembled into various forms depending on the scenario, including bipedal, wheeled, and humanoid torso configurations, and its end effectors are also interchangeable. Each form of the robot is driven by a VLA model. It can perform complex movements and can also be integrated into existing workflows to perform tasks. It's worth mentioning that this solves the problem of which type of humanoid robot to use. Each user can assemble the robot in a configuration that suits their specific scenario, making it truly flexible and versatile – it doesn't necessarily have to be bipedal or wheeled... I look forward to seeing more real-world use cases.

Yoga is my ‘go-to’… at home or on a vacation or back from a vacation 😅🙏 So, today’s routine included the Virabhadrasana and Skandasana, which when done together is a great combination exercise. It is beneficial for strengthening the thigh and core muscles. It also improves balance, increases hip & pelvic flexibility, and gives a deep stretch to the groin, hamstrings, & Adductor muscles. It’s also a great exercise that increases one’s flexibility for more challenging asanas. To make this transition, we'll need to shut down train services on Saturday, October 14 after the morning peak service and for the entire day on Sunday, October 15, for the switch to electricity. This momentary pause is to ensure that your safety is our top priority. I can assure you that suspending passenger operations is a global practice to effect major changes. This switch to electricity will help us introduce more trips and help us serve more passengers safely. I'm proud to say that we launched the first phase of the LRMT Blue Line on September 4, 2023 and we have moved over 80,000 passengers. Our goal is to surpass 150,000 daily passengers between Marina and Mile 2 in the coming months. The future of Lagos trains is bright, and I'm committed to improving your commuting experience. We spent real time comparing the adaptive suspension modes. In Balanced it stays composed and connected. Flip it to Rear Comfort and the character shifts — the rear settles into a softer, more isolated ride while the front gets a touch more movement. Joe (the Prez) sat up front with me first, then moved to the second row and immediately felt the difference. For families, this is the feature that actually matters. You can keep the driver engaged while the people you care about in the back get the smoother ride. Absolute game-changer. Then we handed the wheel to Full Self-Driving (Supervised) v14.3.7 and ran it from Topanga Beach all the way to Santa Monica. It's only been a day, but I can already say that the new Model Y Performance has the most comfortable seats of any Tesla that I've ever experienced. • The powered thigh extenders are great for comfort on longer drives, or for taller people who want extra leg support. • The bottom seat cushion has less aggressive bolstering than the Model 3 Performance seats, making it easier to get in and out of the vehicle. And if you're a bigger individual, the cushion won't hug your legs too tightly. • The side bolstering on the back seat cushion hugs you perfectly and is amazing. I wish I had this in my Model Y Premium AWD.
