🚨 BREAKING OVERNIGHT: In a SHOCK upset, socialist Francesca Hong just LOST her Wisconsin Democrat primary for governor to David Crowley by roughly 0.4 points Absolutely INSANE. The Democrat Party is ridiculous divided and the polls are underestimating voters in more rural parts of WI Far left voters may now become demoralized believing this election was stolen, as late ballots dropped and flipped her behind Crowley!

🚨 WISCONSIN DEMOCRATS JUST REJECTED THE DSA David Crowley narrowly defeated Francesca Hong in the Democratic primary for governor. Hong was the proud democratic socialist with past comments on abolishing police and Thanksgiving. Many expected her to win easily. Blue-collar Democrats in northern Wisconsin and the Black vote in Milwaukee went the other way. They didn’t buy the radical messaging. A real setback for the far left in a key state.

A Democratic Socialist is leading the Democratic primary in Wisconsin, not a costal state. This shouldn’t come as a surprise, though. Francesca Hong For Governor is simply continuing the “sewer socialist” movement that began in Wisconsin over 100 years ago.

Ahead of Tuesday’s Democratic primary in Wisconsin, Democratic socialist Francesca Hong tells CBS News’ Taurean Small she’s “not going to cancel Thanksgiving.” The comment comes after Hong faced criticism for a 2020 social media post, since deleted, in which she called for scrapping the holiday, saying it celebrated colonialism and the deaths of Indigenous people. Hong says she now wants to shift the focus of her campaign to her policy agenda. Hong says that includes fully funding public schools, taxing the ultra-rich, placing a moratorium on data centers, expanding universal child care and guaranteeing paid leave. Hong and more moderate David Crowley are vying for the Democratic nomination for governor after two other candidates dropped out. President Trump’s ally, Rep. Tom Tiffany, is all but certain to win the Republican nomination.

Ahead of Tuesday’s primary election in Wisconsin, democratic socialist Francesca Hong is trying to win a four-way Democratic primary for governor where her top opponent has been endorsed by popular Gov. Tony Evers, who isn’t seeking a third term. Evers got behind Milwaukee County Executive David Crowley on July 18, the same day Crowley reentered the race after dropping out 10 days earlier. Wisconsin’s presumptive GOP nominee Tom Tiffany sees a November matchup against Hong as Republicans’ strongest chance to win back the governor’s office. CBS News’ Taurean Small has more.

This was the exact moment MS NOW’s Jen Psaki realized the polling for Democrat Socialist darling Francesca Hong was completely wrong. Psaki and her network had been way off for weeks. They thought...and clearly wanted...Hong to be a shoe-in. She looked shellshocked, like she could barely believe what she was seeing in real time…and immediately started explaining why Hong “can certainly still win.” This was some serious cope. PSAKI: “Okay, I know we’ve been talking about this, but it’s just worth restating that most polls headed into election day show Democratic Socialist Francesca Hong with a VERY safe double digit lead in the Wisconsin gubernatorial primary.” “And she could certainly still win…but as you can see, with a little more than half of the vote in Francesca Hong is down to the establishment backed candidate, David Crowley, which is, I think, not where most people expected this to sit, with 51% of the vote in…” “What’s interesting to me, one of the things is that there was over 100,000 people who voted in July, and during early vote and vote by mail. That was a period of time where Crowley was in and out of the…he was in and out of the race, right?” “He was out for just over a week and then back in. So we’ll see if those have been counted.” “Maybe they have, maybe they haven’t been, but we’ll check on that.”

On the left is David Crowley who thinks calling him "establishment" is a racist slur. On the right is Francesca Hong who thinks her son creates "proximity to whiteness." These are the choices the Democrat party is offering up to the state of Wisconsin for governor in 2026.

🚨NEW: David Friedberg explains why people have lost interest in the Democratic party (MUST WATCH) "I think the Democratic party has split into two parties: the democratic party *with* beliefs and the democratic party *without* beliefs. The Democratic party with beliefs is very far left and their beliefs are fundamentally rooted in socialism and marxism... The rest of the Democratic party, the "moderate party," really don't know what their beliefs are. Republicans know clearly what their beliefs are. Every member of the cabinet in DC we met with had the exact same message and exact same set of beliefs as to what this admin stands for and what they're trying to do... Because the moderates in the Democratic party have not stated a set of beliefs for their country/party, the party is effectively being represented by the part of the party that *does* have beliefs: the deeply socialist/marxist beliefs. They have subsumed the message and as a result this is why people have lost interest in the Democratic party..." 📸: david friedberg The All-In Podcast

Francesca Hong is about to romp in Wisconsin. Kornacki walked through the chaos: Crowley dropped out for 10 days then jumped back in, and 140k mail-in ballots were cast “most of them in the Democratic primary,” while other candidates were still in the race. A democratic socialist is the clear favorite in a swing state.

A democratic socialist could win Wisconsin’s Democratic primary tomorrow. We asked Francesca Hong how Republicans gained a foothold in the state. She says they rigged the maps, starved schools and communities of funding, and then blamed government when things stopped working. ⬇️ Francesca Hong For Governor David Sirota
