Today, we returned to Pretoria West for a law enforcement operation. Our first stop was to shutdown the Favours Cathedral Church on WF Nkomo Road. This church has been operating illegally for years. The owners of this church have not been paying for water and electricity. In addition, they’ve built illegal structures on this site despite warnings from the City. The City has approached the High Court for permission to demolish the illegal structures built inside this site. The church is a big money making scheme: they run a funeral service and a radio station. We’ve disconnected their electricity and water. City of Tshwane

This is the Bulawayo–Victoria Falls Road. It looks like a road that has been bombed, yet it links Zimbabwe’s second biggest city to its premier tourist resort, Victoria Falls. This is a direct result of the historic looting of public funds over the last seven years. Nobody ever imagined that we would have such a terrible government, one that fails to understand the importance of maintaining such a critical road for Zimbabwe’s tourist economy. When this part of the road was shared on social media in a still picture, the regime called it a lie. How is it a lie now?

Rome's Forgotten Pool Around 200 AD, at the peak of the Roman Empire, engineers in Cappadocia enclosed a natural spring inside a rectangular stone pool measuring 23 by 66 meters. From there, water traveled through underground clay pipes for 2.5 km, then along an arched aqueduct for the final 1.5 km into the city of Tyana. The pool still holds spring water today. The aqueduct still stands, one of the longest and best preserved in Türkiye. The town's modern name, Kemerhisar, literally means "Aqueduct Fort." The Romans left, but their waterworks named the town.

Whenever I see these fences at Auschwitz-Birkenau, I don’t just see a museum. I see the exact reason why we fight today. 😥✡️ Those electric wires weren't just meant to keep people in - they were built to strip away every ounce of human dignity. They were built on the idea that Jewish blood is cheap and that we’d always be the victims, waiting for a miracle that usually never came. The world loves a quiet, suffering Jew. They love us in the history books and the black-and-white photos. But we’re done playing that part.
