If you were concerned about cost of living, you wouldn't increase Net overseas migration to more than 400,000 people in 2022 in the middle of a rental crisis, and bring in a similar amount of people this year, per a Westpac report this week.

‘Modest’ you say? A large percentage of people who are 45 and under will be scooped-up into this, when it is time for them to retire. Anyone with half a brain can see this.

The decision by the RBA to keep rates on hold is another reminder that Labor’s cost-of-living crisis is nowhere near over. No rate cut, no relief, and Australians are still paying more for everything - electricity up 40%, insurance up 37% and food up 15%.
