I jave travelled in this second class during my college days. It's nothing you can imagine. And during the festivals It's worse Overpopulation is one of the reasons behind it.

Hey what’s with poverty worshipping? You want only third class trains? You make it so cheap to travel and sell tickets without any limit, the trains and the station will be crowded. Let these idiots at the railways start issuing tickets only if there is capacity. Then this problem will be solved. Then we will know what is the genuine demand. Increase capacity accordingly. Poor mindset. They want to go in general. SL reservation is not as expensive as 3A. So the mindset is a problem. General coaches are still a part of trains bcos of this cheap ticket mindset. I believe changing mindset to get a reserved seat in SL is required.

Here is the real scale of the problem, average Indian faces. Vande Bharat Express trains share a paltry 0.54% of the total passenger load on Indian Railways. Approximately 12.3% of passengers travel in reserved coaches (AC and reserved sleeper accommodations). Which means 87.7% Indian train travelers, travel like cattle 🐄 . Out of total 13,000 trains run by Indian Railways, only 164 are Vande Bharat, and 852 Stations are served out of total 8,000 stations.

Congress was supposed to finish the infrastructure job in first fifty years , they failed so Modi is not only doing the infrastructure job but developing and maintaining other sectors as well . All the best for your criticism which looks to be paid job . Meanwhile Modi works .

People travelling without tickets do need WWE skills. I as a middle class traveller never needed these skills to travel by train. Interestingly no one noticed it till 2014!

This is not just from 2014. Atleast we get cleaner interior and clean stations. Something we could not dream earlier. What was Congress doing all this while.... I lived most of my life under Indira Gandhi and cong. I have see the dilapidated trains of yore, terrible trains

Work is ON and the results are there for every one to see, however it doesn't suit the agenda so just take a video of random station and push propaganda and earn some easy money.

Sorry to say, the flood of crowd is just from Bimaru states not whole India, these people lack basic civic sense, most have no tickets and they just flood every rail coach. This is my first hand experience, so I don't feel bad for them as they want freebies for travel as well.

What will Modi do. Reduce population???? The travel load is so much. But now so many Road options are available. Notwithstanding passenger travel needs focus. But passengers need to pay and reserve seats. That's the way forward.
