Monopoly will return to restaurants nationwide beginning Oct. 6 for a limited time, according to an official press release from McDonald’s USA issued Tuesday. The latest edition is bringing back one of the most recognizable parts of the original game: physical peel-off pieces attached to select food and drink packaging.

everytime the game comes out theyll hand you food in plain boxes/cups while the staff take the ones with pieces for themselves

Pushing poison for profit. You people are no better than drug dealers

Nostalgia is powerful, but the physical peel-off pieces also raise a practical question: how will McDonald’s ensure fair distribution and prevent staff or outlets from selectively withholding them? Clear rules, staff training and customer receipts would help keep the fun credible. 🎟️🍟 Please read my latest X:

Monopoly is making a comeback—those physical peel-off game pieces are definitely going to bring back some nostalgia for longtime McDonald’s fans.

Finally a chance to collect Boardwalk without paying rent on a real property. 🍟🏠

I hope they hire better security for the winning game pieces this time.
