Reporter: What do you make of Donald Trump’s attack on Kamala Harris’ identity? Shapiro: I think it’s offensive and it’s more of the same from Trump. He attacks other people based on what they look like or who they pray to or who they love.. He tries to divide Americans because he struggles with uplifting all Americans. I think it shows profound weakness.. Attacking the identity of the VP doesn’t at all reflect negatively on the VP but shows a real insecurity about Trump. Meiselas: I think you once made a statement saying that Donald Trump is almost like a Charlie Sheen of politics… Jon Cryer: To be clear, as many issues as Charlie has faced, I do think he’d be a better president… What I was pointing out was that, at the time when I made that comment, Charlie was still just going off and saying whatever stupid tiger blood comment he was making. And, you know, Trump has always been comfortable saying whatever stupid thing he said because most people sort of wrote him off as harmless and didn’t hold him responsible for those things. And I think part of his allure to the people who like him is that he just says whatever stupid thing he’s thinking. They say, “Well, that’s him being authentic.” But he’s always been like that old guy at the end of the bar who thinks he knows how the world works, but he’s really kind of a loser. And unfortunately, people bought into the mythos that we created in the entertainment business—through The Art of the Deal, which was ghostwritten by a guy named Tony Schwartz. Trump didn’t write it. He didn’t write any of those books. And The Apprentice—they had to work so hard to make him look like a billionaire. That boardroom was a set, because the real Trump Tower looked so cheesy. It was common knowledge in the business that he wasn’t a particularly successful real estate magnate. But he was a fun character. And that character has stuck with people all these years. There are still people who are surprised to learn he doesn’t actually have a lot of business acumen.

Harry has been open about how he doesn’t like to be sexualized (video below). He’s also been open about how he was insecure about his sex life while in the band: “For a long time, it felt like the only thing that was mine was my sex life. The outrageous news that we just got with the Trump administration removed the names of four of our service members who were killed in action apparently because the fact that they were killed in action goes against his fiction that sometimes he says we are actually not in a war even though everybody knows we are. What I would say to him is when I was in uniform when I was deployed, I knew that on some level my life depended on the credibility of the people running our government. American lives depend on him telling the truth even when it's hard.

Unfortunately, the Russian side once again chooses war – everyone heard the response today. Weak response. He simply does not want to end the war. I think many around the world were disappointed by that response. He does not want to change anything, and he does not want to admit that this war appeals only to him – and to those who are making money off him. They were all smiling very broadly today. That means Russia must have less money, and there must be more pressure on Russia. I thank everyone who is helping us. I thank everyone who stands with Ukraine and wants a real peace.

This is the best take on the entire Trump interview from yesterday that I have heard on the Internet. These people invited Trump and Harris and Trump showed up and instead of actually advocating for the black community and asking him what his policies are and how he could help they attacked him. They don’t care about allowing Black people to debate policy. They just wanna use propaganda to steal their vote. Like why not actually ask him things that are valuable for your community? He came there clearly wanted to talk to people, and they just again wasted that opportunity.

“EVERYONE. This man came into my yard a couple of hours ago and offered to cut my grass for a certain price. I didn’t have enough money today to afford that on top of everything else, and I told him to come back in a week. A few minutes ago, I heard a loud noise outside of my house. I opened the door and noticed that he was cutting my grass. I went running out to him and yelled for him to stop... he shook his head no. He told me that he saw my kids playing in the yard and was worried about snakes being in the grass and biting them because the grass was too tall. I again told him to stop because I couldn’t pay him. He said that he didn’t need to be paid, he had grandchildren, and that he hoped someone would look after them in the same way. I was brought to tears. I hugged him. We talked about different struggles we’ve had in life, and he told me that this is what the news doesn’t report. He told me the news doesn’t report the black neighbor helping out the white neighbor because it isn’t good for the network to make money. I told him that he has a good heart. I told him I wish more people on earth were like him. We hugged again. He is still outside cutting my grass, and it’s dark now. I am so grateful to have him as a new friend.
