More extreme roadwork situation that Tesla #FSDEurope has probably seen only for the first time and had to figure out what to do. Bug deviation from the normal path and a steep bridge that blocks the view. It feels that Kees Roelandschap and I came across all the corner...

During my Tesla #FSDEurope test drive in 🇳🇱 the car suddenly started doing weird things when taking a turn. Turns out that the normal lane was closed and #FSD had to figure out on its own that not had to go into the wrong lane. So it hesitated, but then was very decisive about it. What seemed ike "what the heck are you doing?" turned out to be the right move until, it realised it couldn't complete that move. Very impressive! You were all asking to not intervene Tesla FSD when it gets into a pickle. Well, here you have an example where FSD encounters a van on a very narrow🇳🇱road and it squeezes itself in the tiniest gap with only centimetres to spare on each side! 😱 This one definitely puckered up our buttholes 😂 Peter van Dam Tesla Europe, Middle East & Africa TeslaOwnersNL Sawyer Merritt Whole Mars Catalog Kees Roelandschap #FSDEurope

Testing Tesla #FSDEurope with Kees Roelandschap in Amsterdam. Driving through this chaotic little street, with cyclists and pedestrians behaving erratically. And FSD just takes it as a champ. Human would be nervous, FSD just say "nah, I got this"! It sees everything around itself and reacts very safely to the vulnerable road users. Awesome! During my drive with Peter van Dam we came across so many situations where the Tesla FSD Supervised was simply a gentlemen towards vulnerable road users. It patiently waits and gives them ample room. Many human drivers should learn from this! Tesla Europe, Middle East & Africa TeslaOwnersNL Whole Mars Catalog Sawyer Merritt #FSDEurope

While doing my🇳🇱Tesla FSD Supervised test drive with Peter van Dam, we encountered this situation where the road was too narrow to even move to the side to let the other car pass. FSD then decided to back up of a while until there was enough room for the car to pass. Amsterdam streets are crowded and a challenging play for FSD. The Bollenstreek (Tulips near Keukenhof) has many small roads that aren't realy 2 way roads, many tourists, bikes and pedestrians, giving FSD a massive challenge that it handled much better than I expected. Watch the Model S conquer this challenge without being in the way of anyone and raising some thank you's. There was also an encouter with the Bollenstreek classic tour convoy. The visualisation is a bit hard to see, as it's only on the instrument cluster, but you can see FSD is on all the time. Drove Tesla FSD Supervised in Antwerp on a busy Saturday afternoon and it handled it beautifully. Here it squeezes in between the curb and tram with literally only centimeters to spare, while at the same time looking out for pedestrians and cyclists. It is truly amazing technology that enhances safety, because in cities like this, you really need eyes in the back of your head and the car actually has 360 views that it watches and processes simultaneously. Something a human can never do! #FSDEurope Tesla Europe, Middle East & Africa Tesla_AI Annick De Ridder Tesla Owners Silicon Valley Whole Mars Catalog

Another very interesting edge case where a bus blocks half the intersection. The Tesla has to persist the cars’ motion behind the bus and out of sight. Just before the blue car appears it starts going because it just knows that was the last hidden car and persisted the speed when out of sight 😱. I swear, sometimes FSD just feels like magic. 😍 Tesla Europe, Middle East & Africa Tesla_AI Annick De Ridder

Just look how far the lady on her bicycle still is from the side of my lane and Tesla FSD just spots it and acts like a true gentleman. FSD increases safety so much while at the same time removing the egotistical behaviour from the driver. It creates a better world on the roads Tesla Europe, Middle East & Africa Tesla_AI #FSDEurope

Hey Germany, take a look at what Tesla can do. Tesla properly stops for a car coming from the right, but the driver gestures “go ahead,” and FSD continues driving. 💪 You’ll probably be the last country to approve FSD. Tesla Europe, Middle East & Africa

FSD V14 can precisely navigate through a narrow barrier with only 5 cm of clearance on each side. Whenever the vehicle's position isn't perfectly aligned, it automatically reverses, adjusts its heading, and re-centers itself on the path. Its handling is more precise and faster than a human driver's. #FSD Sawyer Merritt Whole Mars Catalog Ashok Elluswamy Elon Musk Tesla Tesla_AI

And so I did! I drove from Sweden to Belgium yesterday, with the new Tesla Model Y LR. One of the features I’m most impressed about is the adaptive high beams in this car. This video was taken in The Netherlands and if you look closely you see how the lights adapt all the time, and also all over. It focuses strongly on the signs next to the road and very clearly blocks away oncoming traffic. When the traffic has gone away you see how it immediately lights up the left area again. I’ve even seen my Tesla light up signs further away. Also worth mentioning that it performs equally well under busy circumstances, as I have experienced in Germany yesterday. It’s astonishing to experience and makes driving this car even safer and more fun… Well done Tesla, you have succeeded in making the safest car even safer by adding this feature.
