Even Frankel had his brother helping him out - Bullet Train. He was never going to beat him. Out there to set some pace in the race. You are 100% correct.

Lambourn, Serpentine both won the Derby and were essentially pacemakers for more fancied horses. You could say never back the O’Brien horse Ryan Moore isn’t riding as they don’t think it will win, but they do?

The pacemaker made it 3 places each way in a 7 horse race which is excellent for the "muggy punters"

Geoffrey, the market clearly told all of us today that Shackleton couldn't win the Queen's Vase - 7/2 this morning out to 13/2 before lunchtime. Perhaps the bookmakers at Ascot should've carried this health warning when they were offering 9/2 before the off?? 🤣
