Because approximately 300 toto (e-rickshaw) drivers joined the BJP, TMC-backed goons are preventing them from operating their vehicles in the market. Tayebur Rahman, Raju Rahman, and Afzal Haque of the toto union are also preventing them from even parking their vehicles at the toto stand. Therefore, these toto drivers are protesting by lying down on the road. They are clearly stating that their only crime is joining the BJP, and that being Hindu is also considered a crime. In this way, TMC is attacking the livelihoods of the people of the state in every region. They are attacking opposition party workers and obstructing their means of earning a living. Is this what democracy in West Bengal looks like? Are these toto drivers not Bengalis?
