So what you are saying is, you really like Ruby and we should replace SQL with it.

Well, that was less a rant, more like a "I tell you what it is, so stop making excuses for yourself" I appreciate that...

Bob is 100% dead on here I don’t agree with most of his takes but this one is so good it warrants a special call out: spectacular He hits on something really powerful and I recommend everyone watch this multiple times What he’s describing is the first principles of oop from the beginning to about the middle Then he transitions to talk about heuristics or rules of oop Finally he nails it by saying if you know the first principles you can derive the rest He doesn’t say it in those words but that’s what he’s getting at. Put this video directly in the software developer hall of fame
