Hair detail and rendering look quite a bit better with DLSS 4.5 in Stellar Blade. 4K DLSS Performance 👍

It looks like the game only renders correctly when DLSS is enabled and the internal resolution is below 1080p. Above that threshold, a lighting pass is missing. This explains why DLSS doesn’t perform as expected at 1440p or lower, since performance is impacted by the extra lighting pass. It also matches why Digital Foundry saw a bigger boost, since they tested DLSS at 4K. and It explains why DLAA looks worse than DLSS Quality at 1440p or below. Big thanks to ハイ／🌼 and yeradd for the info.

The wait is finally over. After months of work, the Luma mod for Metaphor: ReFantazio is done! This is from Idarion, the same talented modder that brought you the Persona 5 mod. Gamers have been asking for this since release, given the game completely lacked TAA and HDR support. The mod feature set is wide and takes care of the most lacking graphical aspects of the game: - DLSS & FSR (fixes the extremely aliased and shimmery) - HDR support and improved SDR - Fixed broken bloom - Improved performance by adding shadow map frustum culling Download: As usual with Luma, the installation is just: extract the files and play. Comparison videos and images of Vanilla vs DLSS below:

TAA VS FSR 4 VS DLSS 4.5 at a super-low resolution so you can see how each one reconstructs the image better. In this scenario, I've used Assassins Creed: Shadows on two different machines using the same settings and set the following settings for upscaling. In-game resolution at 720p and changed the resolution scaling to 20% (144p) while keeping the sharpness at 30% Which one looks better?

Today we introduced two major graphical enhancements: advanced upscaling & ray-traced shadows. Upscaling is an innovative graphics technique that boosts game performance by rendering at a lower resolution and intelligently enhancing the image quality to match your display's native resolution. Ray-traced shadows offer unparalleled accuracy in shadow rendering. Read the full Dev Blog here: #EVEOnline #Tweetfleet

AI video is getting cheaper without sacrificing quality. Great to see TopviewAI become one of the first platforms to bring Hailuo AI (MiniMax)’s MiniMax H3 to creators. Native 2K output, 15-second clips, multimodal generation across text, image, audio, and video, plus it’s priced at just 30% of Seedance 2.0. That kind of price-to-performance ratio makes high-quality AI video much more accessible for creators and teams.

here's how I optimized video assets on my site and improved perceived performance: - added a tiny ( ~30px wide ) `base64` encoded blurred inline image for each snippet, rendered as an underneath the video ( renders instantly! ) - moved all the videos to Cloudflare CDN. previously was using Next.js `/public` local path. which was fine when I had only 2-3 videos - added both `.webm` and `.mp4` formats via elements ( .mp4 as fallback in case browser doesn't support )

Qwen just released Qwen-Image-2.1, and this is exactly why open models matter. I loaded it onto my NVIDIA DGX Spark and built Spark Image Lab, a local image generation and editing workspace designed for the DGX Spark ecosystem. QWEN-IMAGE-2.1 • Text-to-image generation • Image editing • Native transparent/RGBA workflows • Up to 10 reference images • Strong identity and product preservation • Improved typography, lighting, textures and detail SPARK IMAGE LAB • Clean Gradio interface • Width and height controls • Steps, seed and batch controls • Persistent generation history • Prompts and settings saved with every result • Reference images saved and restored • Docker setup for DGX Spark • Measured DGX Spark performance benchmarks Everything runs locally. Spark Image Lab is now open source under the MIT License. This is the first public alpha, so clone it, test it on your DGX Spark, open an issue and show me what you create. MODEL REPO

🎉We are excited to announce the first stable #RustyKaspa (RK) node Release (version 0.14.1). Read: This is a significant milestone for the Kaspa network, as it marks the point where we shift to a new improved and optimized engine, which can now be built upon and accelerated to its limits. "Approx. 2 years ago, when I first proposed the Rust Rewrite, I dreamed of unleashed performance and superb code quality. Today I can say that the new codebase is of the highest quality possible and that the set of individuals contributing to it is now an elite group of people, forming a decentralized and world-spread core development force." - Michael Sutton #L1 #ProofofWork #1BPS for now. #10BPS coming. 🔊SOUND ON!

🚀 Cline v3.7 is now available with an exciting interface upgrade! Choose your path with just a click -- Cline now displays selectable options when asking questions or presenting plans, eliminating the need to type responses and making interactions faster and more intuitive. Other updates: - Added support for a .clinerules/ directory to load multiple files at once - Prevent Cline from reading extremely large files into context that would overload context window - Improved checkpoints loading performance and display warning for large projects not suited for checkpoints - Added SambaNova API provider - Enabled VPC endpoint option for AWS Bedrock profiles - Added DeepSeek-R1 to AWS Bedrock Download it now in VS Code.

Microsoft presents Windows Agent Arena Evaluating Multi-Modal OS Agents at Scale discuss: Large language models (LLMs) show remarkable potential to act as computer agents, enhancing human productivity and software accessibility in multi-modal tasks that require planning and reasoning. However, measuring agent performance in realistic environments remains a challenge since: (i) most benchmarks are limited to specific modalities or domains (e.g. text-only, web navigation, Q&A, coding) and (ii) full benchmark evaluations are slow (on order of magnitude of days) given the multi-step sequential nature of tasks. To address these challenges, we introduce the Windows Agent Arena: a reproducible, general environment focusing exclusively on the Windows operating system (OS) where agents can operate freely within a real Windows OS and use the same wide range of applications, tools, and web browsers available to human users when solving tasks. We adapt the OSWorld framework (Xie et al., 2024) to create 150+ diverse Windows tasks across representative domains that require agent abilities in planning, screen understanding, and tool usage. Our benchmark is scalable and can be seamlessly parallelized in Azure for a full benchmark evaluation in as little as 20 minutes. To demonstrate Windows Agent Arena's capabilities, we also introduce a new multi-modal agent, Navi. Our agent achieves a success rate of 19.5% in the Windows domain, compared to 74.5% performance of an unassisted human. Navi also demonstrates strong performance on another popular web-based benchmark, Mind2Web. We offer extensive quantitative and qualitative analysis of Navi's performance, and provide insights into the opportunities for future research in agent development and data generation using Windows Agent Arena.
