Moshi 2.6.0 is out. Introducing Chat Mode: no shortcuts, no clutter — just a clean UI with image upload, voice input, and a text field. Like a normal chatbot, inside your terminal tool.

congrats, downloaded and it looks great. also amazing app store listing. imho the only obvious advantages over terminus are agent notifications and talk to the ai. it’s 10x better than claude’s native solution tho. good luck with it 🤞🏼

Very cool - does it sync with the claude history? so I can pre-fill past prompts? (e.g if I need to stop claude, edit my last prompt and then send again? )

This is the right move. Agent friendly defaults matter more than flashy UX because automation breaks on one unexpected prompt. Keeping the rich interactive mode behind a flag is a clean split.

So I’ve been trying out chat mode and in Codex about 50% of the time the send button goes down to the next line instead of sending. Seems to work better in Claude.

Mostly just cd'ing into different project workspaces. I have a few projects on my Mac and it'd be nice to just tap a saved connection and be in the right directory.

have you tried to open a tmux for each project? tmux can keep for new windows with the path it started from, and Moshi has a nice tmux selector.

@HeinzelAI mosh doesn’t have scroll back in its protocol. use tmux with it is the key

Mind blown lol. Thank you. It works great. Thank you. I didn’t think of pinching a terminal. Also, there’s one issue I have, which might just be the tui for the agents and not the app itself. There’s a huge stuttering moment that occurs when the chat thread gets too long.
