Many golfers lose power by “turning” instead of “coiling” in the backswing. I explain how to create resistance between upper and lower body to store energy and release effortless speed through impact #golf

Comment “ROTATE” and I’ll send you the drills for an effortless transition 👇 Ever feel like your downswing gets steep and you end up standing up at impact? Most golfers rotate their lower body and upper body together in the transition. It feels powerful, like you’re really

This could be the best video you’ve ever watched on how to shallow the golf club the correctly! Most golfers shallow the club wrong. They tilt their upper body back, the club gets stuck behind them & they hit it fat or suffer from massive blocks & hooks Here’s the solution 👇

Mobile-TeleVision follows our previous idea on upper-body and lower-body separation for control: 1⃣We train RL for lower-body locomotion and standing; 2⃣We use IK and retargeting directly for upper-body for high-precision and smooth manipulation. We avoid using RL for upper-body motion tracking. This is because fundamentally it is hard to avoid errors with RL tracking, and sim2real gap brings another gap. At this point, we still find using IK is more practical and precise.

Trying to create a wide backswing by pushing the clubhead as far from your body as possible causes your arms to break down. In this video, I demonstrate how proper body rotation and wrist loading create lag for a powerful downswing. #golf

Teaching golfers to generate ground reaction forces earlier in the downswing is critical for helping them maximize the potential horsepower from their lower body. This “golf vertical jump” progression is one of our favorite strategies to help golfers develop a feeling of their legs driving their arms. The goal is not to train physical capacity, but to build an awareness of how and when to push against the ground in the downswing. Full video on Titleist’s YouTube channel.

Speed isn’t just about how fast you move the club, it’s about how well you move and sequence your body Stepping drills are an integral part of SuperSpeed training protocols The step-forward and step-back drills challenge you to create speed while dynamically shifting your pressure and coordinating your lower body with your upper body. They help golfers learn to ➡️ Use the ground more effectively ➡️ Sequence the body from the ground up ➡️ Develop coordination, athleticism, and intent Padraig Harrington demonstrating the key points for both of these drills.

Stop turning your upper and lower body at the same time. Instead, start rotating with your upper body until your mobility naturally encourages your lower body to turn to finish the swing. You should have approximately 90 degrees of shoulder turn and 45 degrees of hip
