Mr. Ambassador, is there a country called “Oromia”? Let’s be clear: the birthplace of coffee is specifically Kaffa, Bonga, Ethiopia. The very word coffee is derived from Kaffa. That is the true origin you have visited. But we understand it’s not entirely your fault, you’re following the narrative pushed by the regime. Still, facts matter. History matters, and Ethiopia’s heritage should not be distorted to serve political agendas.

Sir have you noticed that farmers and Ethiopia aren’t receiving fair prices for the special coffee we produce? US is the biggest buyer of our coffee yet the prices they pay are barely enough to survive Is there any way we can ask for fairer price from buyers in your country?
