Why oh why doesn’t our establishment accept that its only moral obligation is to the British state and the British people? Not to global welfare. Not to international liberalism. To us, and our country, and our self-government. That is it. The moment they do that, so many of the issues which plague our society become easier to manage. Immigration is no longer a question of benefitting the largest number of global citizens but about boosting the British economy while keeping British people safe. Foreign relations is not about promoting obscure minority rights in far off lands but about securing British interests wherever necessary. And most of all we drop the idea that every culture in the world is the same and therefore anybody can fit in here, and celebrate the fact that Britain has a highly distinct, highly evolved culture all of its own that we want to cherish and protect. What’s so difficult about that?

The persecution of Britain I watched a mother from Sweden on tv, say that for three children in nursery for a month it cost €300. In the UK , for three children at nursery a DAYS care would not be far off that cost. It's just one thing after another living in Britain. Whether it's being taught Our history is bad or Our culture is bad whether it's our government destroying our food security our energy security , and manufacturing industries whether it's breaking down our education system or overwhelming our Nhs and prioritising foreign workers over British trained whether it's the fact we have the highest energy cost in the world and some of the highest taxation. Europhiles like to remember the EEC as an economic golden age. Ted Heath sold the Common Market on promises of jobs and prosperity. Jobs were promised. Investment was promised. Using government figures, Benn pointed out that before Britain entered the Common Market, we had a trade surplus in manufactured goods with Europe. British chemicals. British cars. British factories. British workers. This was the reality being experienced on the shop floor while politicians told the country that European integration meant jobs and prosperity. And this is where the parallel with Brexit matters. For decades, we were told that deeper integration with Europe was the answer. Then Britain finally said enough. We voted to leave. And what happened? The same establishment that spent decades telling us that the European project was our future suddenly told us that leaving it would be catastrophic. But here’s the inconvenient truth: Brexit hasn’t actually been fully implemented. We’ve had years of compromise, obstruction and politicians desperately trying to preserve as much of the old EU relationship as possible. So don’t tell me Brexit has failed. We haven’t even properly done it yet. The EEC was sold to Britain as the road to jobs and prosperity. We know what happened to much of our industrial base. Brexit is our opportunity to choose a different road. Take back control. Rebuild our industries. Put British workers and British interests first. And actually use the freedoms we voted to regain.
