Crash Details: A semi-trailer truck struck a vehicle involved in an earlier crash, causing the truck to roll onto its side. The impact pushed the stationary vehicle into an EMS worker who was assisting at the scene. Injuries: Both the semi-truck driver and the EMS worker were transported to nearby hospitals with injuries. The condition of the driver from the initial crash is not yet confirmed. Cause: Illinois State Police stated the crash was caused by a drunk driver. The driver of a black Ford sedan was arrested for DUI after the initial collision with a black Kia SUV.

A man who was aboard a bus that crashed along the N1 highway in Musina said the bus driver fell asleep and lost control of the vehicle. A man who identified himself as the assistant driver claims the man behind the wheel fell asleep and lost control of the bus. “The driver was sleeping, and a police officer woke him up. He told the driver to go to Musina to register and take the fingerprints of the passengers. When the driver started the bus, he was already exhausted and failed to control the bus.”
